Fishballs with good taste and texture - fishy and bouncy. Very value for money -many ingredients at good quality. Friendly staff and e-payment available too.

The fish and meat balls are handmade as they are irregular in shape. Found the meat ball to be tastier. Would prefer the kway teow noodles to be the thin type.

Hard to find handmade fishball nowadays. It is a dying trade. Love the fish balls here made at the stall at Redhill Food Centre. The fish ball is not perfectly round, not squeaky smooth and not bleached white, and not bouncy. But... this is the Real Stuff! There is more fish in the fish ball than the factory mass produced ones and it tasted great! Their meatballs are delicious too. Spoke to the Uncle making the fishballs. His son doesn’t want to take up the trade. Tried passing down the trade to 3 more younger guys but all gave up before long. It’s hard work and the return is not great. We got to support this type of traditional food before it disappears!

Initially wanted to try to try the prawn noodle stall next door but unfortunately they were already closed for the day. Decided to give this stall selling homemade fishball noodle a try since it looks pretty tempting. Noodle starts from SGD$3 onwards. I had their Teochew Meatball meepok which was SGD$3. It comes with the fishcake, homemade fishball and also the Teochew meatball. Noodle was nicely cook and texture was springy. For those who are health conscious, you might not enjoy the noodle as the noodle was pretty oily. The bowl of noodle also comes with generous amount of pork lard. Apart from that, I thought that the sauce could do with a little more savoriness. For SGD$3, they are actually quite generous with the ingredient. Overall, it was an above average bowl of noodle.

Price wise on the high side for a packet of fish ball noodles $4. However this savory noodle is worth value of all her handmade teochew style meat-fish balls. The chillies n pork lard blended the noodles well. Fish balls are soft texture and slightly crunchy. Will revisit the stall again if I am nearby.

Traditional Teochew style mee pok with excellent noodle texture & vinegar pairing. For $4, the serving is very generous, with a great deal of fishcake slices, 3 or 4 fish balls and 2 very tasty meat-fish balls. The fish balls are pretty authentic, not those full of starch, bouncy tennis ball kind. According to the lady stall owner, they sell the fish-ball (raw or cooked) & meat-fish-ball, i.e. if one is interested to get them for home consumption. Overall the stall is a great find at this food center.

Found the $5 fishball kway teow soup to be average. The fishballs and fishcake were not bad but the soup was too peppery.
