Worst doctor ever!!! Both doctor and nurse are very unfriendly and arrogant! Not willing to listen to patients at all Came to buy my mom's medication A for bloatedness he prescribed before and asked him the function of this medication because I wasnt that clear. He kept saying its a stupid medication multiple times so I was confused, why give a stupid medication to your patient??? So he said if you want to take this medication, take it with medication X. I told him my mom is still taking medication X, he checked his system and realised we shoul've ran out of X, so I told him I bought X in another place. HIS FACE IMMEDIATELY TURNED UNHAPPY and told me to just get my mom's medication from the other store and wouldnt sell it to me. The same goes for the nurse!! Man are you a doctor or do you open a pharmacy??? What's wrong with me getting medication outside?? Not everyone is living is singapore!! The doctor cares more about the patient buying medication from him so he could get the profit rather than the patient taking medications on schedule! NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.

Saw the doctor and was ordered to do a scope immediately. Gave me some pariet and stopped following thereafter. He did not do a clear explanation about my condition except that he need to do another scope in 3 months. Took the med but it did not improve my condition at all. Not recommended.

Reputable and very experienced doctor. Friendly and professional. Been his patient since 2010. Once I was in pain and he attended to me at A&E within 2hrs after calling him. When he was at a family dinner celebrating his daughter exam results. ???

This happened a year ago but I'm still salty about it so I'm writing this: Doctor is rude and forced us to take another Endoscopy to which we have taken before infact very recently on other Gastroenterologist, when we refused he had this sarcastic tone to purposely patronise us. Endoscopy isn't meant to be repeated frequently and should be done sparingly and should be repeated once every 1 to 3 year but he vehemently asked us to do it again after only 2 months. wouldn't have gone there if my other Gastro doctor was open for business, I only went there because his other colleague (Dr. Tan Heng Kwang) recommended me to which left me with a lot of regrets.

Very caring doc who remembers my father even after his liver case with him almost 10yrs ago. Called my father personally to check on him when he knew my father isn't well and urge us to see him ASAP for further checks. All tests are done promptly and refer us to a very nice oncologist.

Dr Chong is an excellent and experience doctor with good skills. I went to see him for my gastric issue which bothered me for a while. He was accommodative to my busy working hours and stayed late to see me. He was very thorough with my medical history and made good judgement. His instruction was simple and easy to understand. On the day of scope, the procedure felt like a breeze. It was completed before i knew it. I had scope before many years ago, but previous experience was not pleasant as compared to this. i did not experience any discomfort after procedure and dr. chong also explained the findings to me. He emailed me the results of the biopsy subsequently and communicated to me on the results. Highly recommended for his care and skills!

Dr Chong attended to me recently when i had acute appendicitis requiring urgent intervention. He put aside his other commitments and rushed over to Gleneagles to attend to me late that evening. Thereafter he followed up on my case twice a day post - surgically, sometimes making his rounds even beyond office hours. I definitely would recommend others to see him if they need an unbiased opinion and an astute examination for a medical condition.

Dr Roland Chong is one of the best Gastroenterologists I’ve met around the world. Professional, friendly and skilled in what he does. He treated me and my wife many times.
