Roland's never fails to disappoint when it comes to craving for that amazingly fresh cooked seafood in the most quintessential manner representing that authentic Singapore style. From your choices of an array of signature sauces of chili to pepper to salted egg, your humongous crabs are cooked to perfection! We had one of their renown dishes, Crabs with rice noodles soup. Hits the perfect spot, as the soup is rich with crab roe flavours, ginger, green onions and of course....juicy crabs! Remember the saying goes....when in Rome, roam like the Romans do, and Rolands are filled with just the local crowd. Fresh, wholesome, and reasonably price! #bestseafoodinsingapore #crabs #amazingseafood!

We ordered the following dishes: βœ”οΈChilli Crabs βœ”οΈHoney Glazed Pork Ribs βœ”οΈCrab Meat with Silver Fish Fried Rice βœ”οΈBraised Seafood Hor Fun ~ We had 2 Crabs (about 500g each) for the Chilli Crabs. I love that it is spicy and not that sweet compared with the many other chilli crabs I tried. One of the Crabs was super solid fresh. The meat was succulent. The other was not as good but still acceptable. The Honey Glazed Pork Ribs is tender and beautifully glazed. Like that the silver fish separated packed and very generous. Would prefer the crab meat in the Fried Rice to be more prominent. The Hor Fun is a bit overly starchy for me. However the ingredients like prawns were fresh and succulent.

Came for the weekday lunch dim sum and left satisfied! Very reasonable prices despite it being in a nice restaurant. Would highly recommend the carrot cake, egg tart and char siew sou.

The chilli crab sauces seems to be less spicy and less tastier. Generally is still fresh ingredients and affordable prices.

This is the place to go to experience authentic Singapore Chilli Crab! Food is incredible. Ambience is very comfortable without being snobby. Service was amazing. Roland even came out and said hi to us.

Roland is a landmark in Marine Parade. It hails from the old schools masters that perfected Yu Sheng and chili crabs. It has been years since I last visited Roland. I am thankful that it survived the pandemic. I was invited by some dear friends for a dim sum lunch today. I have forgotten that it served d dim during lunch! Roland is situated on the 6th floor. Visiting Roland is like taking a ride in a time machine. The decorations and ambience brought me back to the 70s and 80s. Good times and good memories. The restaurant is spacious and bright. The customer service is good especially Roland himself. The boss is attentive to the customers. He is the epitome of great customer service! We had a dim sum galore today. The glutinous rice with chicken is good. Comes in a pair and it is delicious. We also had the char siew bao - a quintessential favorite and it is ok. The rest of the dim sum followed:- chicken feet, fried yam, har gow and siu mai! Every dish is a delight. I also ordered the chili crab sauce with fried man tou. This is my best and brought me to food nirvana. The sauce is sweet and sour and infused to chili. If it is dinner, I would have ordered their signature chili crabs. The desert did not disappoint. I had the red bean paste while my wife had the Orh Nee. Overall experience is positive. Today’s visit is a reminder to me to visit Roland more regularly. The old school feel and awesome food harken me back to the 70s. It is like a entering into a epicurean dream that is borne ceaselessly back into the past.

Service and food were ok. Pork ribs were quite ordinary. Liked the fried yam ring and sambal potato leaf. Chili crab was not very spicy and rather decent in size. Reserve in advance as restaurant is popular during weekends.
