β β β β β Had ordered the Unagi Don Sumeshi via Deliveroo.
Was disappointed as the Unagi was rubbery (even though it already considered a thin slice), far from the soft flesh ones available in the market.
Do not recommend.

β β β β β Very disappointed with my Chirashi don, the sword fish in it is totally full of smell, i don't think it is fresh to eat.
i gave up!!
The waitress just took away my bill and everything full stop here. Lol!!

β β β β β Cold soba portion was generous, the Chuka Idako serving size was rather small. Fried octopus & squid was served freshly fried. And I love their salmon sashimi - choose it fresh from the chiller and they will slice it up for you. Uni Handroll was quite disappointing, didnβt taste very fresh.
Will come back again as generally quite happy with the quality of food.

This place is a Japanese supermarket cum restaurant with a good selection of sashimi and a comprehensive menu that you order through an online link.
The food was excellent to say the least. The quality of the sashimi was fresh and sliced to order. We did find a couple of scales and a small bone though.
The Kathy with egg was quite well done but a bit on the salty side of things. The pork was still crispy and had a nice bite despite being soaked in a sauce. Pork quality is good.
Price us very reasonable for the quality you get. Definitely worth a try.

β β β β β Japenese dining with fresh catch purchase option. Interesting concept with a lot of freshly flown in choice of sashimi.
Impressive on the surface. Disappointing in substance.
Ordered tokusen chirashi don, ramen, tori karaage, and 2 fresh fish order.
Tokusen chirashi don was alright. Ramen was extremely bad. Tori karaage was good. The fresh fish order was mixed. 1 good, 1 pretty bad.
One particular thing was their service. Everyone is acting super cranky, from the front service personnel to the sushi chef. I get that the service is busy, it doesn't hurt to be a little nice. Just a little. Dont expect you to be chatty but don't get cranky and unhelpful.
Price of everything is a little bit on the premium. Hence this wasn't a great experience overall.

β β β β β Have been dining here for many many years and not sure why Iβve not left a review until now. Since itβs early days in West Coast and expanding to Parkway, food quality has always been reliable and reasonable prices considering items are freshly imported from Japan. Menu is also quite extensive for cooked food not just sashimi and sushi items. Sake selection has also increased over time.
