★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice broth... the peppery teochew style here should please most. The pork knuckles tend to be on the lean side but I guess that suits most of our county folk. Side dishes are well executed but don't stand out. Soup refills from a kettle sitting on a hotplate on the right side of the stall, self help and I'm impressed it's not the watered down version.
I would say it's good and prices reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have always wanted to try the bkt from Rong Cheng for the longest of time. I was very glad that they opened a branch near to my home. This stall have been operating for a month or so. Decided to drop for dinner today, short queue was spotted upon reaching the coffeeshop.
Ordered a bkt, a bowl of rice, youtiao and mui choy and the bill came up to SGD$10.50. Soup was hearty and wasnt too overly peppery. Ribs were well cooked , meat falls off the bone easily. Mui choy was average, had better ones elsewhere.
Overall, comfortable food to eat during rainy days. Will come back again!
