★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cozy authentic Chinese restaurant in New Upper Changi Road. Value for money. Ordered sliced pork strips with green capsicum n 5 sticks of beef BBQ , goes well with a small bowl of rice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is good, 辣子鸡 is nice. Oil and chicken they use to fry is fresh, unlike other places I've tried. We tried the other dishes, all quite nice, so far have not had anything disappointing. They also serve some grilled stick stuff. Those are also yummy. Can request non-spicy for kids. Homly feel and owners/staff are very friendly and nice. Popular spot, so we usually go off peak timing.

ALLEGEDLY, for each type of skewer we need to order minimum 5 PCs! Except for the sausage (not Taiwanese sausage, typical hotdog lol at $2 each).
The 干包肉 or something is a huge miss, super dry and tough like jerky. But the 辣子鸡, fried mushroom and skewers are good, just that I don’t buy the fact that we have to order at least 5pcs for each type we want. (We were a group of 4 if that even matters and wanted to order 4 each anyways.)
It is very small on the inside of the restaurant and can be very very irritating when the surrounding tables are very loud after a few drinks (like what we experienced that day), so sit outside if you want a relaxing meal.
Might come back again. @ management pls review the min 5 skewers order, it doesn’t make sense. Doesn’t seem very honest if it wasn’t an actual policy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had lunch here today. Ordered 3 dishes - fried cabbage 手撕包菜，Sichuan spicy chicken 辣子鸡, and green chili pork slices 青椒肉丝.
辣子鸡 very good, spices used not too strong, I guess is pretty localised. 青椒肉丝 very nice! Love the green chili flavour. Fried cabbage decent, not the best.
Rice not bad, but can be one grade better.
Overall a good meal on a raining Friday.
