Route 66 Bike Wash & Grooming Services

They seem to have a lot of Harley Davidson customers and from the reviews below they look good. However just like one of the few bad reviews below, I had the same issue. Brought my Vespa there to wash. Came at 11am, left at 145pm. I had to ask them if they were done as nobody bothered to even tell me it’s ready. It seems you’re supposed to check yourself which they didn’t say. They have a few types of wash, did not explain what the difference was for each of them but I paid for the most expensive one anyways. You have to make full payment through paynow before coming. Couldn’t see much of a difference from using hose to wash. Young boy that looks like he’s still in primary school said he washed the bike. Didn’t bother to wash under the mat of the Vespa and blamed me for not “saying”. Quite curious why other washing companies don’t seem to have this problem. Maybe they don’t know Vespa’s don’t come with black mats and still don’t. The small boy still can roll his eyes to me and say “you never say to wash under the mat what!?” Absolutely… “wow..” Even when they are finished washing, they don’t tell you. It’s like you’re supposed to know when they’re done. By the way I came out after an hour to check and the bike was still parked in the same place. I crossed the road to the cafeteria to have lunch and came back immediately. When I told them they took quite long to finish they just casually said.. “oh we dunno where you went…” yes even though they clearly have your phone number. I’m not saying they’re horrible, but maybe unless you have a Harley the service you get is subpar.

Came at the right time with no queue. Boss J very fast to attend to the bike. Wash took abt 30-40mins for the Nano wash + ceramic shield. Bike was clean thoroughly. More importantly for me was the chain & rim cleaning. Came in dirty, came out shiny. Meanwhile, riders can chill in the lounge while waiting. Not the first time sending for wash. Definitely will come again.

Great experience. I have a bike that is a punishment to clean: a 10th anniversary Harley Davidson V-Rod... It has chrome pieces everywhere. The (extremely friendly) people at Route 66 made it shine like new, it has recovered 10 years. Highly recomendable and worth the price.

Went for the nano wash with liquid shield for $42, which made the bike real shiny. They really clean out the chain too. Excellent and friendly service which took about an hour (make sure to book). Would return again.

Overall my favourite place for bike wash! Detailed and affordable. Roughly takes about 1 hour per bike.

Wow is an understatement actually. They really clean the bikes and chains. Its something that they are specialised in and we would definitely recommend it to u anytime. Rims and chains are brushed and nothing escapes uncleaned. Treat it as a once a month clean is the bare minimum unless u r are super clean owner.. The prices are also affordable, in line with what you are paying. There is a downside to this nonetheless, d wait is slightly longer than expected.. Most bike cleaning services will take bout 15-half hr at most, this may take longer! BUT that is the charm, as u really get what u pay. Just be patient and wait.. Have coffee or even a meal downstairs, which is really 1 minute away from this shop. Try it to believe it.. Cheers!

Had my bike washed here. If you are a first timer, go to the cashier and make payment to get into the queue. Bike was well cleaned. I took the $32 package and the wife said the bike looked like new! ? Left the bike there in their good hands and they called me when it was ready for collection after about 90mins (I was no. 3 in the Q) Will definitely return !

Execellent service and standards pretty high. Bike is cleaned. Thank you to Johan and Black for helping out with my bike. Will definitely return again ?
