Each dish is cooked with pride and passion, akin to the goodness and comfort of home-cooked dishes. I look forward to their menu every weekend- personal favourites include Assam Fish, Rendang, Chap Chye, Otak-Otak, Pulut Inti.

This little Restaurant only opens on Sat and Sun from 11.30 the 2.30 pm. It’s owner Fred serves Peranakan Cuisine and if you ask me I will say he puts other Baba establishments to shame. He has a variety of Peranakan dishes on Sat and on Sun the menu changes slightly and he sells lontong, mee siam. Nasi Lemak and his otak is just fantastic and done to perfection. He has a steady steam of followers and during opening time be prepared to wait for at least half an hour. The place is rather small inside but there is seating outside shared with a Muslim cafe Mariam next door which also sells equally delicious food. It will be a very Long write up if I have to describe every dish but rest assured this little cafe really serves good food. His prices some would say are a little steep but the quality and taste of the food is extremely good. Go try for yourself and you be the judge of it. I doubt you will be disappointed.

I absolutely loved the food, the nyonya dumplings, ngor hiang and otah tasted very authentic, with just the right balance of spice. the lemongrass drink was also very refreshing. I highly recommend this peranakan eatery, and I can’t wait for more.

Rendang was super tough, I threw away 80% of it, flavour was ok. Pork trotters were mainly skin and bones (80%) and the gravy was too sweet. Maybe other customers got better portions of meat, but from my experience, it is really not worth the price.

We ordered takeaway. The peranakan food is authenic and the portions are generous. The blue pea rice with fried shrimps can be eaten on its own. The chap chai is wonderful. The only thing that is a minus is the smabal prawn which is a bit powdery.

Make yourself as if at home. Unique experience with the food. Small shop house. Family business. Operating only on weekends. Had a great 30 min chat with the owner after operation hour. Opposite Eunos mrt walk abt 8 min.

Authentic Nyonya foods here. A small cafe with limited seats that only open on Sat & Sun 11:30am - 2:30pm. I enjoy their mee siam very much; nice gravy! Beef rendang bento also not bad... the pea flowers rice with a little of fragrant dried hae bee hiam, curry veg... nom nom. How I wish they can operate for longer hour...
