enjoyed my recent trip to europe with them.. tour leader was super helpful and went out of his way to make everyone happy.. even reminded us to be careful about our belongings and lovingly 'nagged' at us to keep warm and more.. learned a lot and enjoyed myself. planning to go to japan with them next year..!

DO NOT sign up for SA tours tour package. Went for the Harbin snow town 8-day tour from 16/12/2018 to 23/12/2018. Horrendous experience due to the appalling service by the tour guides YANG DE PENG and WAN HUI. One of the worst, if not the worst tour guides I have ever met. What kind of service quality is SA tours providing? Horrible service. So horrendous to the point that I am reviewing this even before the tour has even ended. WAN HUI 1. Upon arrival at changi airport, tour guide WAN HUI was supposed to meet and gather us at the airport, however she was late and even failed to fulfill the simple task of updating the tour members on the flight delay as well as where she would be when she arrived. Whats more disappointing was the fact that she only met us when we arrived at Harbin airport and she even had the audacity to make us wait for her out in the cold air for about 20min. 2. Furthermore, throughout the tour, she practically did nothing to fulfill her role as a tour GUIDE as she did not even put in the effort to guide us around the attractions and intentionally remained silent and slacked off during EVERY single activity. Eg when we asked her about the art museum attraction in volga manor, she simply brushed us off and told us that we had already walked past the attraction? Does not seem like she knows how to do her job properly, maybe because she wasnt even fulfilling the basic requirements of her job through the whole trip? YANG DE PENG 1. Poor time management of the tour activities. Allocated way too much time for eating as well as travelling, so much more than the time we spent on the attractions, so much so that we practically spent the whole tour eating and travelling. Eg we were only given 2hrs to shop at 中央大街, which was obviously not enough as we had to constantly rush and were not even able to visit a fraction of its attraction. Shockingly, we were given the same amount of time to eat our next meal which we completed in half the time while our tour guides were enjoying their meal downstairs without reminding the other tourists that we were able to leave already. Couldn't the extra time be put to better use, maybe allow us to tour the attractions longer? Such a simple planning mistake made by this tour guide who claimed to have been doing the same job for close to a decade? Unacceptable service. 2. Woke up late for the supposed meeting time at 7.15am during the 3rd day. Was even missing throughout the whole morning and only appeared at 7.30 when we were about to leave for the snow town attraction. Even more appalling was that he was seen drinking AND shouting loudly in the hotel kitchen on the previous night. Horrible work ethics. Is this the kind of tour guide we are supposed to expect from SA tours? Hiring an irresponsible and undisciplined staff? Disappointing. 3. Also, poor temper and threw a tmeper tantrum each time someone complained to him about his tour organisation and plans. Isn't he supposed to consider each tourists' preferences and work on satisfying each customer's needs instead of being so aggressive towards the tourists when they to inform him of their preferences? Even tried to spite us today after we complained to him by withholding the agreed dinner time just to make us late. What a childish and irresponsible tour guide. Did we pay for this tour package just to get annoyed and angered? Overall, horrible service, horrible experience. Would not be signing up for any SA tour packages in the future. Please, at least, refrain from hiring these 2 tour guides if you want to maintain quality service in the future.

Jess Hew from the China counter is helpful and so friendly. We had a chatty conversation like 2 old friends have met up. Her warm reception made my experience with SA Tours pleasurable and want to go back again.

Just came back from a trip to Xiamen with my family. The tour leader and guide were extremely professional and helpful. Itinerary was well planned and FOOD was good too!! Would definitely come back to SA again

Friendly staff and patience in explaining their packages. Price is also competitive. My family has been using SA for few years and it has been always our top choice for tour agency. Keep up the good work!

Harbin snow town 8 days tour 16 dec - 23 dec A very bad experience. From the first day, we were suppose to meet the tour guide at changi airport at 11pm but she was late and she did not contact us nor gather us until we arrived at harbin airport. The flight was also delayed, we were not told about it and we waited at the airport for 4 hours. When we arrived we waited out in the cold for at least 15 minutes before the tour guide contacted us. Unless SA tour guides are trained to organise tours like this. During the tour, the china tour guide, mr yang, managed time poorly and allocated too much time for eating and resting at the hotel. Everyday we would be back in the hotel at 3pm and have nothing to do until the next day, and our lunch, breakfast and dinner time was always doubled compared to the touring time. When we confronted mr yang about it, he somehow pushed the blame to us and said it was not his fault. This was the first time, out of the many times i went on a tour that i was blamed by the tour guide, and after that because he held a grudge against us, he purposely told us the wrong meeting time and we were late for dinner. He said he did tell everyone, however we are a family of 5, so its impossible for none of us to have heard of the correct time. Furthermore, other than mr yang, the other singapore tour guide did nothing to guide us during the trip, and she acted like one of the tour members instead of the tour guide. We were almost lost when we were walking on the snow mountain track in snow town, and we had to follow the other tour group's tour guide to return safely back to the meeting point. This is the worst tour experience and we are writing this review during the trip (20dec) . I would not recommend anyone to book any trips with SA tours and I would never go on anymore SA tours after this. I cannot wait for this trip to be over. Furthermore this was supposed to be a vacation.

Just completed a 8D6N Winter Hokkaido with SA Tours with my family of 21. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, professional, experienced and humourous. The tour leader, Zoey was efficient and responsible. The bus driver was very alert, careful on the roads and helpful. Food provided was sumptuous, especially the dinners. Hotels were clean and comfortable. Activities were well planned and smooth flowing. No hiccups at all! Thank you for the wonderful service. Will definitely travel with SA tours again!

Just came back from Swiss-France-Germany tour and had the privilege to have Rachel to be our tour guide for our honey moon. Rachel always ensured the safety of our group while letting the group maximise our time in Europe. She was always detailed,cool as a cucumber and covered all possible scenarios that could go wrong in the trip. From checking in Changi airport, claiming tax refunds in Europe all the way till we collected our baggages back in Singapore, she ensured that members in the group goes these daunting processes smoothly. She even provided us with heat packs(where we need it the most) at the cold mountains in Switzerland! My wife and I wishes her all the best and looking forward to the next trip with her. Cheers Adam
