Sandbox VR - #05-31 Orchard Central

So much fun! Such a well oiled machine as well, easy to book and check in. The staff are great at their jobs and explain everything very well as well as being able to fix technical issues as they happened. I will be going back!

Came with my wife and 10-yr-old son. It was fun and enjoyable. Can learn about team work. A good balance of shooting and exploration. Game took about 30 mins, which was just right. Be prepared for squatting and head turning as you hid behind barriers while enemies approached from all over.

Great place to release stress! Friendly staffs. The best thing after your virtual game experience, they will email you the videos.. very fun! Try it yourself!

We have been to Sandbox VR twice and it was a great experience both times. First time, we played Amber Sky 2099 and the following time, it was the Curse of Davy Jones. The staff does a good job of briefing you on the system and helping you put on and take off the gear. We had some minor technical issues during the game, but the staff fixed it right away. They also helped to take some pictures while we were playing. In the end, you get a movie style trailer of you and your group playing and some fun in-game stats emailed to you as a memento of the experience. While you can play with two people, it is recommended you come with more because it's more fun and you can be more competitive in the games.

We played Sandbox VR and Deadwood Mansion for the first time, and we thoroughly enjoyed the immersive VR experience, shooting zombies, rats and all sorts of monsters. The team work element was very nice and the 25-30mins game play was just nice in playing it. Definitely see ourselves coming back to try other games! Super rocks!

Had an amazing experience playing Deadwood Mansion. The briefing before the game was clear and staffs are helpful. At the end of the session, we received videos of us playing. Would definitely come back again for the VR experience!

It was a great experience , but the image was quite blur and we can’t wear what our team conversation , I basically can’t really see the face of the zombie - just a blur image . If the can improve the sound , visual , and connection it will be perfect .

I went there with my nephews to have a good time. The reception and the service were good. The games all looked interesting with their own gimmick so it was hard to choose one. We went in got geared up and started the tutorial. 5 mins in we were all still mesmerised by the VR. After that it wasn't that fantastic. Controls are not as responsive as you would like in a shooter or fps. The weight of the gear is bearable, heck even my 13 year old nephew could maneuver around without issues. But the weight of the headset is pretty heavy and it hinders gameplay quite a bit. Heat is an issue, dress light as you will be sweating. You would think the ac will be turned down since the players are all carrying hot computers on their backs. Bring a drink along as you will be thirsty afterwards with motion sickness pretty much a guarantee. I was initially disappointed that we could play 3 games before but can now only play 1 but having been through the experience I feel relieved instead.
