★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited back in March before the shutdown. The Sang Nila Utama Garden is a garden set within Fort Canning Park and named for the first ancient king of Singapore, I think. The garden has the architecture style of ancient Indonesia and Malaysia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sang Nila Utama Garden is part of the Fort Canning Park walk. The garden is quite picturesque with beautiful ornate bali style gates adorning the pathways. On holidays might expect some groups sitting around but nice to spend some time listening to some small water fountains which were meant to help relax and meditate

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the sure-fire highlights of Fort Canning Park. Through its brick archways, you will enter a small pristine world filled with the beauty of the Southeast Asian gardens of yore. There are benches by the ponds to lounge and relax amidst the sounds of the water. The garden is less than 200 m long, but it leaves a lasting impression in one's mind. Great place to snap some photos of the statues too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful garden using red brick to create the "side" of the doors. It is as if you are in Bali. Total length is about 150m. The small animal scrupture are very nicely crafted as well. Beautiful little ponds along the area with water lily planted in it adding a sense of tranquil. May be they should breed some fishes in the ponds as well.
