★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I asked for a roti prata set and 2 samosas, so I paid $6.80. Then the waiter served only the prata. I asked the waiter and he said that I only ordered prata. So that means that they cheated $3 out of me. Never going there again. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sankranti is a fabulous food joint serving Indian delicacies.
Be it a quick bite of 'Samosa' with filter coffee/tea or, a sumptuous 'Egg Biryani' for lunch, chances are you will mostly find what you are looking for.
I personally loved the 'Samosas' with hot tea on a rainy day evening.
They shall have a mouth watering vegetarian offering.
However if you are not used to oily or, spicy food, you may have difficulty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Breakfast is good. Ghee Pongal with Vadai is the best combination to try. Be careful when Pigeon around there. Management should look on this issue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had food from Sankranti Tampines and can tell you with confidence it's one of the worst restaurants in Singapore. They maintain no cleanliness and it looks disgusting. They charge too much for the horrible food they serve. They should be banned.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought 2 briyani takeaway today and it was just mirchi masala mixed with biriyani rice Which costs around 18$/briyani .it tastes bland and not even single ingredients/flavour of briyani was there .
I won’t recommend it to my friends and won’t visit to hv briyani there unless someone tells me briyani back to their original sankranti taste
Note : I have been customer of sankranti for around 5 years ? and recommended to many of friends earlier.
