The Holy Triangle of Food Priorities - 1. Taste 2. Affordability and 3. Queue. Here you have the first and second tenets comfortably and while there is always a queue, in my opinion it is manageable. So this is definitely my go to place for savoury Chinese “ramen”! :D

Not sure why there is a long queue. Broth was diluted and not tasty at all. Just a very plain bowl of MHK. Very little ikan bilis and veg. Not big serving at all, plus i asked for no prawns and more kueh. Queued 30 mins for this. Not worth at all. Disappointed.

Even though I Daboa the noodle, the soup was pack separately. The soup is delicious and the ingredients are fresh. Glad the regular customers are still queuing for it during the P2HA.

First try this stall Mee-Hun-Kway. Is a wonderful experience, although not as best taste as the famous Balestier market one, but... They are selling at much lower affordable price $3.50. And I can taste my childhood home taste, the soup is sweet and tasty, can tell it was make from anchovy stock. The best part is the Kway is hand make, is very authentic old way of cooking style, unlike others all using machine, very even and Kway stick together after cook. Ingredients include a mid size prawn, lean pork meat, eggs, spinish and touch of pork lard. No complain at such affordable price. In fact, is a thumb up for them. ??

The dry version of the mee hoon kueh is sort of unique and it tastes good. Heard that their soup noodle is also a must try. Expect long queue and take note they don't open everyday and they're closed by early afternoon.

Today saw the shortest q of just few people, and decide to try their Sheng Mian. Surprisingly fast and efficient that the uncle takes order and fulfilling all the orders. Waited only 5mins. I guess the limited menu helps as well. My $4 bowl is of generous serving size and fill with ingredients of egg, spinach and minced meat. Taste is delicious but not mind blowing. Will come back and try their dry version and mee Hoon Kuek.

Decided to give it a try when spotted only 2 person in the queue from this famous stall that always crowded. Lucky I moved fast as queue start to build up soon after. To be honest, it a good bowl of 生面 with fresh ingredients, but not that good to worth queuing for more than 20 minutes. The queue does move fast and hope you won't get people dabao many infront of you. Good to admit I like the soup alot, every nice compared to the noodle.
