I would enjoy your western food more if the lady boss is more friendly and pleasant. But most of the time when I ordered from the store, lady boss is always in a foul mood (also the reason why I try not to support the store, unless I really crave for their western food). The shop's operating hours here is inaccurate because they usually stop serving at 7.30pm - 8pm and lady boss would shun you away, telling you they are close for the night. Today, I happened to be buying from the store beside them and heard that they are close for the night (at 7.15pm?!). Would suggest the owners of the store to work on their customer service and change their operating hours here to prevent disappointment. add on as of 23 Jul 2021: they adjusted their operating hours to 8pm. they were previously operating till 9pm, thus the horrible service.

Fantastical local spot for some pretty great western food. Well cooked and seasoned with quality sides for the price you get. Been a regular here for a couple of months and the food is consistently great. If you live nearby, do come down for your western fix! Just be warned it is run by only two people (who are really nice and warm) so if its lunch/dinner time, expect to really wait if it's crowded. 2 people can only do so much with 20 to 30 people ordering.

Have patronise seng huat western since my primary school days. Serve the best western food around my area esp the pork chop and steak! Friendly owners and usually weekend will be busy so if you want to eat ,I would recommend you to come earlier.

At last I have the chance to try after reading all the reviews. I have to say, I am very impressed, and will be back again with my family. Ordered chicken chop at $6/-. First impression, the serving seems a little small, with a piece of garlic bread, coleslaw, fries, served with mushroom sauce. Chicken was perfectly done. Not oily like others, slight crisps but not charred. Very nicely marinated, and not too empowering. Mushroom sauce was good too, strong enough taste, not oily messy like others. Can actually taste the slight button mushroom scent. Coleslaw was so refreshing that there was a slight "green apple" freshness. Garlic bread was toasted before serving, tasted fresh unlike others. Overall, very high standards for a commonly found dish. Overall, with the price, I find the serving was good, and the quality exceeds the impression of the dish greatly. I can say this is the best chicken chop I've had ever, anywhere, even comparing to restaurant chains. Thumbs up!!! Satisfying meal!!! This is definitely the best review I've ever given.

They serve decent western food at a reasonable price. Be prepared to wait long though, at a typical dinner time (beyond 1830), the wait can be up to about 30 minutes. I also don't like it that they mix coleslaw together with the meal and makes it soggy, so have learnt to request for no coleslaw every order.

Just normal, average western food in the heartlands. Nothing much to shout about.

Searched on Google maps for western food in the area. Seng huat turned up. Have to admit there was some apprehension over the details from some of the other reviews . I made a guess over the reason and decided to turn up around 5pm when there's less of a crowd Ordered fish and chips , topped up for bacon, and garlic bread . Was informed by the lady, set already comes with garlic bread so I changed it to nacho cheese dip Served within 5 minutes. Was the food fantastic? I think it's one of those stalls where things don't go wrong . The bacon was crispy. My fish and chips as you can see from the picture wasn't over fried and was moist inside Regular fare , not selling you foie gras or something with cream of truffle. You get what you paid for and most importantly you dont feel shortchanged when you see it which is how I feel for probably 70% -80% of a lot of western food stall or even other stalls . Didn't feel satiated after my meal , wondered if its because it hasn't settled since I haven't had much of an appetite for a while. Waited maybe another 10 minutes Still felt I could eat more . Joined the queue to order squid rings for takeaway Nicely fried. Chewy but not tough. Doesn't look like staff unceremoniously dumped them into a box . You get that feeling again where its worth what you paid and it's well worth the price . The Lady wondered if she missed my order when I queued a second time. She seems overwhelmed somewhat even for non peak hours , which might explain some of the other reviews . But she was meticulous for both orders with me . People seem probably need more empathy when it comes to receiving service. Greatest draw back to return visits are probably the distance of either walking 25 mins or 30 with a bus for me . 13th April, returned to try their ribeye. Found it soft and tender . Not the type of butter I like but the little touch of butter on top was still pretty nice Definitely more than worth what I paid for when you consider what everyone else offers Onion rings was definitely the weakest item I tried. It was just regular onion rings.
