★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seng Kee (成记麵家) uses fresh handmade egg noodles. The noodles golden in color, are as thin as pasta, yet they have a very chewy texture.
The wanton also uses handmade wanton skin, and they are the super thin type. Wantons are filled with minced pork and dumplings are filled with fresh shrimp, plus a touch of minced pork to enhance the flavor.
Their Char Siew is quite disappointing though. It is hard, plain in color and tasteless.
The finished broth is very mild in flavor. You can taste cuttlefish, salted fish from the broth with each sip of the soup. It is so tasty that you can drink a lot if it.
