★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quality Fu Zhou fishball soup! The fish balls and dumplings are freshly made and have a very tangy bite to it. They also serve great red wine chicken mee sua, a rare traditional dish these days. My only gripe is that for $6, the portion is slightly small. Nonetheless a great bowl of fishball soup!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The noodles and fishball is great!! Hidden gem. Order the number 4 noodles which has tons of different variety of fishball with different (nice) taste!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came in Saturday evening. Not very crowded and the place does have the nostalgic look. Ordered red wine chicken rice noodle soup and foo chow combination. Both tasted great and a very good price. Thumbs up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Patronised their old shop many times over the last ten years, very satisfied with their red wine chicken all the time. First time to this shop along beach road which is a short walk from the old shop. A little dissapointed that the red wine chicken doesn't taste like before as it wad somewhat diluted. However, the shop is much bigger and more comfortable compared to the old shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice fuzho fishball once in a while.
Careful, soup is loaded w msg...typical of fishball soups.
Makes you want to drink a bucket of water later.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New premises are nicer, very unfortunately the food didn't upgrade. Full review:
1) mee sua, still decent but seems a bit watered down and chicken is tough as leather. Feeling generous, so 4 ?
2) fishballs - they must have changed the recipe, because these used to be great, now rubbery can use to play squash, 3 ?
3) breaded fish - was recommended to me, wafer thin sliced fish for $8. Per slice more than a dollar, and very ordinary. 2 ?
Foochow food not easy to find, hope the owners work more on the food please.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The old school red rice wine mee sua is tasty with mild sweetness. The small portion at $6 is sufficient for one but not much meat from the chicken pieces. Good to order a mixed soup of handmade Foo Chow fishball and dumplings as side dish, perfect. The fishballs has the Q-ness unlike the mass-produced kind. Order at the table and pay cash when the food is served. Went during lunchtime, almost full house but no need to wait for a table.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Passed by the restaurant many times on my way to Golden Mile Food Centre. Finally tried the Foo Chow fish ball soup. It did not disappoint, the fish ball is plumpy with a nice texture and bits of pork inside. The soup is piping hot, light with a hint of vinegar. The small soup is $6 with 6 fish balls, I think there are $8 and $10 size too.
You can also add noodles to the soup, or buy the fish balls to cook at home. Will be back to try other selections on the menu.
They have both inside and outside seatings.
