This Sheng He is actually a chain, owned by 3 brothers. Each are in charge of one stall and there are several stalls island wide. In fact, there are two Sheng He stalls in Serangoon North itself. The one I patronised is open 24/7, while the other one is not. Back to the BCM, though it's not the best, in terms of taste, this is decent.I like the generosity of the ingredients. Their chilli is also pretty fragrant and spicy, which is different from other stalls. But I felt that the vinegar didn't come through. The noodles were al dente and of good quality. What I didn't like is the soup. Their soup is known to be VERY plain. So, don't order things like their prawn mee, or mini pot. This place is more known for their fishballs. Their fishballs are bouncy and does not have overwhelming amount of flour. Just note that if you were to order their fishball noodle soup, add more Tang Chye and soya sauce to enhance the flavour of the otherwise flavour-less soup.
