Great deals and value for money. Always end off here at the end of my Thomson Food trips :)

Sales staff are generally friendly and helpful

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cheap supermarket but quite often the fresh produce (vegetables and fruits) are sold out or low stock and it doesn't offer as much choice of international brands as other supermarkets.
They have a bizarre payment system with automated machines AND a checkout lady. Twice the effort and resources, really pointless system.
Be aware it is located in the basement, and the lift down there is one of the smelliest and darkest in Singapore!
Parking can be a pain, especially at peak hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SS offers fresh produce and I like that the packaging is just right for smaller families' needs. Also often has good deals, saving money. I end up buying more than intended, but happy about it. Service team are also helpful, friendly & they remember regulars! Nice touch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is probably the most cost-effective Sheng Siong - prices are typically lower for the same items than other stores (from experience). Decent variety and good service: the store assistants will help you to your car with your bags. Payment system is a tad unusual - goods and are checked and bagged at a counter and the cashier will hand you a slip to make payment at an automated machine. This is presumably to reduce queue times and works fine but could be awkward if you have a bunch of heavy groceries. Overall a very good option for daily supermarket shopping.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great grocery store. They have automated machines to accept cash or plastic. Prices are very reasonable. It doesn't have much western products. It is located in the basement.
If you are driving, the parking is 1.80 minimum. There's no convenient place to park as the side road is always filled with cars. So keep that in mind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i love this shengshiong. use to be 24 hour but now only until 11pm. But the staffs are all so nice and hard working. i love how shengshiong have so many interesting brands and stuff compared to other supermarkets. Such as dinosaur eggs from cadbury or chinese brands fruit teas. I never though I'd compliment a supermarket hahaha great job guys
