Fatboy’s burger never disappoints! If you are looking For a wholesome indulging burger, with a yummy fresh beef patty and a whole myriad of various options for your burger, then fatboy’s is the place. I had the Fat Basterd with additional beef chili cheese fries, beer battered calamari and washed down with a 1925 Ang Mor Liang Teh craft beer followed by their special promo Stella Artois pint at $10/pint! Must go if you want your burger fix!

The location and restaurant is nice.The service is also good?. But the burgers are not great at all. Let me explain, I have been twice to Fatboy's burgers. The first was a while ago and had a lamb burger which I didn't like at all, I thought that was the lamb and decided to give this restaurant another try. Today I tried the "Fast Basterd" burger, and I was disappointed. The beef patties of all the burgers have no consistency, they are very mushy. The burger bun very soft. The bacon is okay. The combination of the bread and the beef makes everything feel like you are eating some weird mash potatoes ?, if that makes sense. Maybe it's just me, but when I eat a burger I want to feel like I'm eating a burger and not something else. Fries ? not that great. I also tried the "Yolo burger" from my GF's plate and the onion and mozzarella cheese was just unpleasant . The beef and bread the same as the burger I ate. I believe the quality of the burgers to be very poor and most of the ingredients just dump into a fryer. In addition, they are overpriced. I wish I could say better things as the service was good, but I need to rate the burgers as it is the "strong" point of this restaurant. ?I wouldn't recommend this place if you are a true lover of burgers.?

A below average burger place with above average milkshakes... I tried a classic burger with bacon. The selection in menu allows to pick how the patty will be cooked. However, the result was far from a medium rare beef I requested. Quite dry patty, mediocre quality beef and not satisfying bacon. At least the vanilla milkshake was on point. The worst part at the end - they left a bay leaf in my fries...

Ordered Mac and cheese for kids and chicken burger with spam fries plus cheese stick. Super yummy. The kids finished up all the Mac and cheese and the cheese sticks. Cheese sticks are super cheesy and chewy! A nice cozy place to go. Only down side is the lack of parking and parallel parking near the restaurant.

Overall, I think the food is not bad. However, it is pretty crowded and noisy on a weekday (Friday) nearing dinner hours. Maybe due to the peak hours, I felt that the staff were rushing to clear the plates even before finishing the food, which made me feel that I had to quickly finish the food to let other customers come in. Good for a one time experience.

Fatboy’s the Burger Bar has 3 joints in Singapore. This is the one located on Upper Thomson Road, the restaurant has sufficient seating space. There are several beef/chicken burger options and just one Vegetarian burger option, the bun made of soya. The burger comes with small portion of Fries, and lettuce dressing. We ordered the vegetarian burger, it was on average tasting a bit on sweeter note. We also tried Jalapeños Poppers, which was crispy as it should but wasn’t spicy. Strangely, the fries was the best tasting food on the table. The restaurant has QR placed on each table for ordering purposes. The staff are helpful. See the picture for yourself.

We tried out the burgers today. We ordered the beef burger with the house made blue cheese sauce and also the pepper pork burger. As for sides we had the cheese truffle fries and the spam fries. Both burgers are cooked nicely with a charred surface and juicy inside. The blue cheese sauce is nice and not overpowering. Pepper pork burger can do with more flavor. Portion is big and these 2 sets enough for 3 persons so we shared. We also had the chocolate milkshake. It is very rich and tasty.

Food is good and the service is generally prompt. Located at a corner of Upper Thomson and we are glad to see this joint when we are scouting for our dinner. The burger is juicy and it gets better as one continues to munch it. Recommend to try this when you are here. The shake comes with marshmallow that’s burnt, something that I did not expect. One improvement point might be to ask if the customer like to have any condiments. One need to find out where to grab them before they offer it.
