Always Long queue, waiting to order my favourite white chicken wings with rice. Today come agin ? Green veggies out of stocks ? Their rice has it own unique taste ?& the taste is consistent, normally, I order extra pack of rice, add boil water re-cook become chicken porridge for my father, he is 93 year old now, love my improved chicken porridge ?. They are using AAA Golden padi rice ??? The sesame chicken rice taste quite normal,fried hokien prawn mee taste a bit salty, kway chap is good the rest yet to tried out

It was good but not like mind blowing chicken as I thought i would be as per reviews.The chicken was indeed cooked very nicely and is succulent. Chilli could be better too. Not a fan of thick gravy on the chicken rice and spare parts. Still very good chicken and rice (I finished my bowl).

it still taste the same after 10 years….. ? i grew up eating their chicken rice till i moved out of gombak!! only the soup gets more peppery than i rmb.. but the lemon chicken is my fav still~ very crispy & yummy!! will recommend to order their thai tofu too!!

One of the best chicken rice in the island. Their rice are very fragrant, chicken was succulent, the fatty char siew is mind blowing and their chili is really good. Must try if you’re in this area!

Tried this on a weekend afternoon when we were deciding on where to have lunch, and was greeted with quite a long queue when we reached. ??‍♂️??‍♀️The queue system though, was very organised, with a main queue to take your orders. Subsequently, you are given a queue number to wait outside of the queue, effectively managing the crowd around the stall. ⏰ to our surprise, despite the long queue, our food was ready within 10-15 mins of the order, which was rather impressive - small tip, get a table in which you could see the queue counter ? the chicken was tender, both roasted and steamed, sauce was unique unlike the other chicken rice stalls since it wasn’t purely light soy sauce - it was in fact slightly sweet and rich too ? rice was flavourful on its own, accentuated by the colour of the rice, a light tone of yellow ? this kinda fails the dish though, with an added Thai chilli mix, it really wasn’t an authentic Hainanese variant of chicken rice. It wasn’t spicy too.. ? not a bad choice, generous serving with a similar sauce to what was served with the chicken All in all, despite the chilli failing our expectations, it was overall still an acceptable plate of chicken rice - though I would be more inclined to leave it a 3.5 ⭐️ rating over a 4..

There is no doubt that this Hainanese Chicken Rice is much better than the chicken rice you can buy in some famous chain stores. This chicken rice has a lot more fragrance in the rice itself, and the sauce along with the steam chicken make it one of my favorite dishes. The store is undoubtedly on the top of my list every time I crave for Hainanese Chicken Rice for my lunch whenever I feel like having some.
