The host is really nice and friendly, he also recommends store special very well and explains what to expect in taste, texture and smell. A super hospitable team that makes u want to visit them repeatedly.

Chanced upon this restaurant by random Hey Google chat. Called and made my restaurant. MUST CALL TO MAKE RESERVATION! Ordered the air-flown 5 types of fishes sashimi, garlic fried rice, kani ikura (crab meat and fish roe) don, salmon ikura (salmon and fish roe) don, live oyster ikura, grilled cod fish, vanilla crepes and chocolate crepes. Nice foods, in general, thumbs up. A little pricey on the 5 types fish sashimi ($50) but not unexpected. Others are reasonable prices. Garlic fried rice is good, fragrant and personal liking would like to have stronger garlic taste. Salmon ikura is good, salmon sashimi is lightly seasoned with black pepper. Kani ikura is nice with juicy shredded crab meat. Had a live oyster, quite fresh but not the juiciest for sure. Grilled cod fish is average, the cut can be thicker to be juicier and tastier texture. We wrapped up our dinner with a slice of vanilla crepes and chocolate crepes. Impressed with the crepes. Vanilla is a little too sweet for my liking. Chocolate one is awesome. Rich and flavourful with strong chocolate flavour and a tinge of liquor taste lingering in the mouth, after taste was great. Overall a little above average price but reasonably. Will come back.

A hidden gem located at Kensington Square. Came across this on Google and decided to give it a try - we were not disappointed at all. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Squid is fresh and tasted good with just salt. Salmon sashimi are thick slices and cheap in my opinion. Mayo Hotate is sinfully good with their sauce. I will come back again to try other dishes. Recommended!

Hidden Gem. Small cosy place which takes reservation. Food is great, and service is excellent. Sashimi and the different Donburi that we tried were all good. Came due to a friend's recommendation and it did not disappoint.

Agree with the other reviews that this restaurant is a hidden gem in TaiSeng, the sashimi quality is excellent, salmon is basically melt in my mouth. The grilled marble beef is also tasty. We also ordered tuna sushi, uni sushi and the fish head, fresh and very tasty. Highly recommended! Remember to book reservation before visit.

Excellent Japanese cuisine. Particularly the Pork Bento was a great surprise, appear like a Wagyu version of pork where it was feed with sake and beer. Juicy on the inside and grill light char on the outside, buttery taste and texture. Oyster was from Nagasaki, so the taste was less flavourful but it’s big and juicy. Every piece is Japanese fresh for what Japan quality is known for. Recommended.

Lovely fresh seafood and perfectly grilled meats. Oysters are plump and JUICY. The shot was a unique taste/experience Same recommendation was spot on to match the dishes. Ambience is nice but do book in advance to avoid disappointment.

A nice Japanese spot along the front facing shops. Seems to be very popular judging by the crowds. Quite an extensive menu of Japanese food with sushi and sashimi. Fish is air flown in from Japan according to the server we spoke to. Prices are good and also good selection of alcohol. Service was very good.
