Fragrant rice with rich flavors,the poached chicken is also succulent ,but the sauce they used over it is bit salty.The free soup they serve for dine in's taste like it's prepared with pork bones.great tasting chicken rice ,price is high though.

Since young, my family and i always ate their chicken rice. Been supporting them, and lately ordering their delivery service. To be honest their chicken rice standard drop alot as compared to old days, prices are also expensive but we still support them as they are my monthly routine family gathering meal. However last Saturday 07 May 2022, we had a very bad experience whereby the delivery quarrel with my parents with sarcastic remarks. I called up and requested to speak and feedback to the person in charge but was pass the phone to the counter (PRC accent) which obviously he can't be the person in charge which he claim is.. He agreed the whole situation is badly handled. But then no solution or apologies was offered. I requested a call to my parents to apologise was accepted but till now no calls. Probably last time patronising them with such lousy after service.

I ate this shop’s chicken rice almost every day for 20 years. I can tell you without a doubt the chicken here is a far cry from what it tasted like when the original lady Made it. It literally bad chicken rice. The meat is soft and powdery. Will never come back again.

The white chicken is very good, but the sauce has overwhelming sesame oil. The fish maw soup is surprising good. The fried chill beef is soft tender and flavourful.

Extremely dishonest and overpriced. The most basic of a business is to give customer what is ordered. Just went recently to dabao. Ordered a bottom portion quarter chicken for $13.50, which means it should have a full drumstick, thigh and the remaining bones with meats of the quarter. Instead what we get is only the drumstick, and only PART of the remaining, but NOT the full. How do I know? Coz my family often cooks chicken rice and I help to chop the chicken up. This is not how a quarter looks like. Very disappointing since I’ve been going since young. Definitely not going back.

Pretty tasty food. It's a homey, chicken rice zi char place. The chicken rice really stands out. Tasty moist chicken. The garlic eggplant was a bit of a let down. Everything else we ordered we finished. Yum yum.
