Cool place and with service. The guys can painstaking explain a light bulb to me...???? Price is reasonable too. Only set back is they do not have a phone number for us to call. Everything is via mail....?. Would be really difficult for the elders with blurry eyes and not necessarily good with the handphone... Also for when you are in a situation where you need the answer right away.

Best shop for new home owners. Lighting is the most important thing for the ambience of your home but it’s commonly overlooked. We have explored 10 over lighting shops and glad to have stumbled upon Shoik Light. Big thanks to Augustus. Pricing: 9/10 Service:9/10 Employee Knowledge of lights:10/10 Quality of lights: 9/10 Dont bother checking out the traditional shops at Balestier, or expensive lights at shops starting with S and V. Balestier shops just wana light your home to the max, while fancy shops oversell on ambience (how their beautiful ray of lights hits differently). Shoik light cuts the bull*hit, at a very good price point. Their knowledge on ambience setting is also solid, and logical. One downside is they don’t have a contact number so everything is via email (therefore 9/10 on service). But they do reply very quickly and it’s best to meet them in person so that they can run through your floor plan and requirements. 9/10 for quality because I faced a minor issue with my Demi double spotlight where I can’t turn it to the angle I want due to internal alignment issue. But I guess I can overlook it because of the price point and service. These guys are quite candid and sincere. Bo bian. I also like the fact that for most of the lights they are using standard light bulbs from Philips, rather than using own inbuilt LED. This means you can easily replace just the bulb when it’s faulty. Would be good if they could do more promotional activities for customer retention (membership, referrals etc)

We were served by Aug. He gave us very good pointers from number of lights to type of lights to use. We are very satisfied with the variety of lights Shiok Lighting has to offer and how it turned out in our home eventually.

Shook lighting has an extensive lighting showroom at the Redhill area. Good display of lighting coverage of different room size. Customer can try out to turn on the different lights on display.

Shiok lighting staff was attentive, knowledgeable and professional. They went the extra mile to suggest and propose what’s best for our house. Although there is no phone contact, email replies were prompt. What’s more the showroom was spacious and layout was easy to navigate for us to view the variety of lights. Highly recommended!!!
