[22 Apr 2021] Not a porridge/congee person. Tried the pork ball-century egg porridge at this stall one day when I was feeling under the weather and had little appetite. It was good!! Quite remarkable considering my dislike for porridge and lack of appetite. Still not a fan of porridge but I would eat from this stall now, like once or twice a week. And my colleagues like it too. So a few times a month, they would ask me to tabao for them. We all like the porridge because it is flavourful and the ingredients are generous. I like to add a few cut chilli into the porridge to give it a kick. I like it too that they accept e-payment. Silky smooth Cantonese style porridge. Its umami flavored broth is to die for. You can only get them for breakfast. I would usually order the chicken congee with meatballs (added extra) - $4

Don’t let its looks deceive you. Looks plain and nondescript, but the taste exceeded my expectations. Porridge is smooth and flavourful. Bought the pork porridge that includes meat balls, meat slices, intestine and liver. Ingredients are tender and fresh. Even without additional egg and eaten cold, the porridge still tasted nice. Hawkers are friendly. Will definitely return again.
