Super duper helpful! Had a problem with a broken zipper for a bag.. After identifying the zipper model, they took extra time to fix it in the store for me.

I came to know of this shop as back then, had to run errands for my mother and she would be next to me in the car and pointing out the direction to this place. What sets this place apart from current retailers like Spotlight etc is stepping into Chuan Kee is like stepping into a little shop of wonders. The inventory is amazing, and I don’t call it the one stop solution, it’s the ONLY solution. If you can’t find it here, it’s highly unlikely you can get it elsewhere. It feels like a generational thing, and now it’s my wife whom I chaperone to this place, for her stitching needs and also managed to source for my damaged zippers. I’m sure when my daughter enters secondary school next year, she will likely be asking me for help on where to get all these “barang barang”. A very fantastic place to get materials like treads, ribbons any any fabric related items. Owner & staffs super friend and will always help you and explain to you if you are not sure of what you need. They even go all out to help you find what you want or need if they do not have the items or out of stock for the items. A highly recommended place to go..

Terrible customer service. I enquired about snap buttons and tools and the sales lady that came out from the back kept rolling her eyes and made all sorts of impatient noises. Only saving grace is the shop does have some varieties of materials and buttons but it does not justify the bad attitude. I found my buttons and tools across the road where they were much more pleasant and helpful.

Truly wonderful experience! Came here to get embellishments to add on to my dance costumes. The staff were extremely helpful and professional in suggesting how I can decorate my costume (recommended to bring your items to the store so they can advice based on the item!) They suggested items based on my budget, taught me how to sew the pieces on and were very patient with any questions I had. They have a vast range of fashion related goods, from ribbons to beads, motifs, trims, sequins and crystals.
