Best Hawker stall in Singapore

Google maps yielded two different results within walking distance, but according to michelin website this stall wasn't the one with the bib gourmand. However, i tried the other one before and i have to say this stall is much better. The chicken is very generous and got lots of cucumbers. The chilli is also very shiok
Y	YY on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3.5 ?if I may, breakdown as below : Price ? - affordable @ $3.50 per plate, doesn’t come with soup since they offer a selection of 4 soups, ranging from $4 to $5 Chilli ? - I don’t usually eat chilli, but this one really has the kick, deriving mainly from its chilli seeds Rice ? - definitely not the best, not fragrant enough imo Chicken ? - roast chicken is good, tender yet fragrant. Steamed chicken definitely has seen better days..

x	x on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chicken rice so so, thing to note is shop has serious attitude, takeaway customers beware they only give 1 small packet chilli, no ginger or extra chilli for takeaways. We prefer cross the road eat Margaret Drive chicken rice (40 Holland Dr).
B	Blockhead on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the first time I’m writing a review because I feel v compelled to do so after a bad experience, and this is coming from a person who loves chicken rice and needs to have it at least twice a week. Ordered through a food delivery app and these are the issues: 1)Poor food quality - chicken was v bland and dry. Soup seemed v diluted and devoid of flavour. 2)Only gave a small pack of chilli despite ordering half a chicken (despite requesting for more). The chilli would have made the poor quality food more tolerable. 3)Relatively high price point. Makes it even less value for money. I’ve ordered few years ago at their Meiling market branch and was quite impressed. Today’s experience was a far cry from that. Truly disappointing.

The one that stayed at Commonwealth while the original Sin Kee moved to Mei Ling Street and now, Holland Drive. The chicken is decent, although the breast can get dry at times.Their sauce is more salty than others, but I enjoy it. The rice and chili are quite tasty too.

However as I am quite sensitive to msg it seems the dish has quite a bit of msg and I felt the after effects after I ate the chicken rice. Price is reasonable but prob will give it a miss next time I m there. But if you are not so sensitive to msg you may want to give it a try! The ginger is nice and my friend likes the chilli!

The sauce of the chicken used to be so tasty that it was addictive. Also, no soup was given and the braised stuff (beancurd, tau pok and egg) were mediocre. No prices indicated for chicken rice. The lady staff was extremely nice though. E-payment was available.
