The broth is thicc and you can taste it really takes time to boil it. The firmness of the noodle is just right. The chasyu is indescribably delicious. If the ramen has bamboo shoot then it will be perfect.

Authentic and tasty Japanese food at reasonable price. Spicy tonkotsu ramen, tempura don, California sushi are our favourites!

Black garlic ramen and Spicy cha shu bomber is nice. Sashimi platter is not bad and served in a big ice platter. However do not try the tempura. The tempura batter is not nice and the prawns are frozen prawns and small. Chawanmushi is served in a plastic container that means they steamed it with the plastic container. Very toxic and poisonous for consumers, plus they added soya sauce into the chawanmushi, I've never seen soya sauce added to it and I'm surprised a japanese owner would do that. That's shocking. Overall 3 stars because they only have 3 ppl operating over the peak period and they take a lot of time to clear the backlog of food delivery orders. Obviously they can't cope with the order and are low in manpower. Be prepared for 30-45 mins waiting time for your order to be taken and another 30-45 mins to get your food even though you are eating there.

I ordered the Cha Shu Spicy Tonkatsu Bomber, felt the noodles was too soft for my liking and would have liked a little "firmness" to the texture. The Chawanmushi was light brownish in colour and I'm quite surprised with the appearance and colour as the ones I ate in Japan and locally are light yellow. I know dashi and soya sauce are added but I find the appearance quite off putting and even more unappetizing as it is served in a cheap plastic container instead of a chawanmushi ceramic cup. Please do not order the prawn tempura as well, very soft soggy batter, no crisp or seasoning at all. Tasted like it was cooked yesterday and microwaved to serve. Prawns doesn't taste fresh and the size of the prawns were quite small. Chirashi don was alright overall. Good portion of sashimi to rice. There are a few hit and miss dishes on their menu, ramen and sashimi don is alright but for their side dishes and izakaya dishes I'll probably give it a miss as it doesn't taste nice and it doesn't look appetizing by appearance. Lastly the customer service and queue time. Waiting time was very long because they are short of staff all the time. I'm not sure why they are not hiring more help given that they have plenty of orders to fulfil. Also the owner Mr Taki tends to shout at his staff (I'm assuming his wife) in front of customers and that leaves quite a bad impression for customers. I understand the space of your kitchen is small and you need space to serve food out quickly but shouting at your own staff isn't very respectful or gentlemanly. He also made a fuss about how the food menu should be placed back into the slots located in front of the stall. I think worrying about placement of menus should be the last thing on your mind when you have tons of food orders to complete. Really need some improvement on customer service and EQ skills here. I may or may not come back depending on whether the owner improves in their quality of food and customer service.

We ordered Ramen, sashimi, tempura and a chirashi don. Very pleased with all the item bearing in mind the quality change when food are taken away. Although the tempura was not as crispy but the taste and the sauce were brilliant. The sauce when have a subtle spice punch that caught my 3 year old by surprise! Lol.. Ramen everything was on point but considered small portion for bigger eaters. Great value in the Sashimi!! But it became a little watery when we reached home.. but they have their limitations for take away. Nonetheless, good work!! Definitely will try other items for our other visits.

Looks like a stall operated by Japanese owners/staff in this coffee shop. Tried their beef + egg don (take away). Simple and tasty. The beef was quite soft and tender. Also browsed through their menu which is very comprehensive for a small outlet. Will look for opportunity to come back to try other items. The Japanese couple requested for the exact payment and they don't have change in coins. My meal was S$8.40 (inclusive of S$0.5 for take away packaging). Tendered S$10.40 and the staff returned a S$2 note as change. They were happy!

This place is a hidden gem! Food is extremely affordable and delicious- been here twice in the span of a week now for takeaway. Ordered the following for my parents: egg and chicken with rice, terriyaki chicken and rice + egg and beef with rice is excellent. Portion sizes are in good quantity and the ingredients used are fresh. It does get very crowded at peak hour though. Be prepared to wait between 20-45 minutes for your food.

Had the chicken nanban bento set ($11.90). The bento came with some wakame and cabbage, which I appreciated, as they both provided a nice contrasting taste to the deep fried chicken pieces. The tartar sauce was just alright. It could have been better, but it would be unfair to compare it to a restaurant standard. I did not like that the chicken pieces were a tad too fatty. The fried vegetable tempura was just ok, a little dry.
