★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve read that you must try the youtiao CCF when you’re around this area! It was really good with crispy filling of youtiao within the CCF. It soaked up the sauce really well without becoming soggy. This is quite different from the ones we had in Hong Kong which were light and fluffier.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered porridge ($5) and Chee Cheong Fun ($4). Slight pricier than other hawker foods in the vicinity but the food is restaurant standard.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A well known stall amongst Toa Payoh residents for their Hong Kong style Chee Cheong Fun and Porridge.
Their porridge is indeed an excellent bowl of thick but smooth tasting goodness. Their CCF is also a good with it's slippery smooth rolls drizzled with a nice savoury sauce. However, the shrimps used in the rolls are of cheap & poor quality...the ones you'd expect to find a plate of zichar horfun.
Another CCF nearby in a coffeeshop uses large and fresh shrimps that added a crunch to your every bite. I would prefer that to this.
