Found the food alright and reasonably priced. Waited for the food as there is only 1 chef cooking.

The most honest hawker in Singapore! Very reasonable price for all the dishes. The taste of home cook food. Be prepared to wait. Long queue in the evening.

One of the hidden gem at this hawker center. Delicious and affordable zi char. Simple and fresh ingredients. Would recommend for anyone looking for a nice warm meal. Really friendly service too

Hidden inside Toa Payoh Lor 7. This is really a gem in the heartlands. Tasty, homecooked food and very reasonably priced. Aunty is friendly and served with a smile...love her motherly feel. The wolfberry leaves soup was great and full of nutrients. Not too salty and to the taste! The beef was perfect, not too overcook and just right. It was so easy to go with rice just with the beef fried with spring onions and ginger. If you come alone, you can just order this dish with rice as the beef was fried with alot of onions as well. Claypot toufu with veg came piping HOT with generous ingredients like button mushrooms, cauliflower, fresh prawns and fish slices. Lastly, the crispy battered prawn. Wasn't ordered at 1st, but have to order as we saw them serving to the next table and it was awesome! Served with chilli sauce but just eat it original as it was as good as it gets! Will come here again! Though it come with a wait as read from the reviews here, the key is to order their food and while waiting, just order a plate of 10pcs Satay, French Fries or a bowl of YongTauFoo from various stalls for munchies 1st. That will prevent "A hungry man is an angry man." ??

Came here at around 5pm and ordered their fried bee hoon and sang mee. The bee hoon was ok. I like that it had tons of ingredients but it was lacking in terms of flavour (salty-ness). I think the bee hoon is more towards quantity than quality. They also gave 2 prawns, a few slices of chicken (which had a chicken smell, not in the good way). Now for the sang mee(生面). It was really good. A lot better than the bee hoon (also it took a lot longer for it to arrive). The noodles were perfectly crispy and the gravy was not bad. Overall I would definitely recommend the sang mee but only if you have time to wait for your food.
