★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Changed it from 5 stars to 2. I first ate here when they just opened, the char siew was so good, with a nice char on the outside and the smokiness was just delicious. It is no longer like that anymore, the sauce coating the char siew is no longer sticky and charred, almost abit watery, dont bother with this, tastes pretty mediocre now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the Char Siew Wanton Noodle at 炭烤黑叉烧 at Chong Pang City Food Centre today. Was attracted by the picture of beautifully charred & juicy char siew in their signage. The few pieces of char siew hanging at the front of the shop also looked promising. Then the HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT came when our noodles were topped with char siew that looked totally different from that shown in their signage — barely glazed, no char, pale, lean, dry with not fat at all.
The noodles was alright but no effort was put into separating them (served in a lump so some parts did not get any sauce).
The only saving grace was the wanton — the skin was meh but at least the filling was substantial.
$4 portion was also on the small side.
DO NOT GET DECEIVED BY THEIR SIGNBOARD/ MENU. SCAM.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff taking orders have absolute no care for hygiene. I gave feedback that the cutleriy was not appropriately clean as there were specks of left over food and white spots on the cutlery (picture as attached), however she replied that it was not her responsibility and no further actions were taken to remove or clean the affected cutlery. Food hygiene should be a food stall's number one priority. If the staff's attitude towards food, stall and cutlery hygiene is nonchalant and averts this responsibility, I would strongly discourage anyone from eating at the stall, no matter how good the food taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible experience. Never had a worst stall in hawker centre ever. Do not buy from them! Esp pork knuckle. All bones. I left the whole plate there. I took the plate back and the staff was defensive and told me it's like that. It says 1 star here because one cannot rate 0 star on google. But definitely not worth your money.
If you are the owner, I hope you sleep well at night cheating people's money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw this the other time I came here for the chicken rice. It is located in the same coffee shop as the popular Bishan cold chicken rice. This store is selling the KL style of roast meats where you can tell my more distinguish darker colour of the charsiew. My wanton noodle was $5SGD, the sauce for the noodle looks plain but it was flavorful and I really like it. Charsiew was nicely roasted and its more on the sweet side. Unlike the usual wanton you find outside, the filling of the wanton from this shop contains prawn meat

Ordered the standard 叉烧云吞面. The noodle texture and flavouring was just nice.
叉烧 quite normal, cut till a bit small.
云吞 is a bit disappointing. A bit on the salty side and the skin is HARD on the top. The ingredients inside is quite good. Too bad it was not well cooked else will give one more star.
Ps: if owner reading this, please get your staff to put on MASK while handling food.
