★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want a cheaper alternative to your Ding Tai Fung experience, without the aircon and without ripping a hole in your wallet.
Then come here, try their Pork chop/Prawn fried rice or even the Lanzhou Beef Noodles ( If you are a nuuder boy like me ) or go for their Dumpling with chilli oil.
Delicious and cheap.
6th time back here still as good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the XLB, freshly steamed, need to wait for a while, but it is worth the wait. Going back to try the fried rice, think this stall can give Ding Tai Fung a run for the money! Besides, princess dowager did not kpkb, so silence means approval on the food. Should support this humble stall, as the stallholders appear humble too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When this shop first opened, I was quite impressed by the quality and price, and variety. They serve not only noodles, but also fried rice and Xiao long bao. All are okay. Especially for less than $5, the Xiao long bao is considered good value. Tonight I tried, for not trying for many months, the quality dropped. The beef soup colour is so dark that, it was like a whole bottle of soy sauce is mixing in one bowl. Just one sip of the soup is my one month intake of sodium. If I wrote this review months ago, I will give 4 stars. Today it is 2 stars. So average 3 stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It looks just like one of those xiao long bao shops but if you look closely, they also have other items. The big surprise is the fried rice. Don’t tell anyone because I don’t want to queue too long for this, but this is better than King of Fried Rice. The rice had a nice wok hei. Pork chop was well marinated without being too salty. The fermented beancurd sauce was nicely coated on it. All that for only $6. XLB was not bad. Filling had lots of soup but meat filling was a bit too little. I think it’s worth returning for the other dishes some day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered the 10 pieces of fresh meat dumplings with chilli oil at $4.50 and 10 pieces of Beijing steamed dumplings at $4. The Beijing steam dumplings taste better. The meat was juicier than the other one with chilli oil. First time trying their dumplings and I say this isn’t too bad since it’s only less than $5. Not exactly wonderful but there’s e-payment at this stall.
