The only reason why they have customers is due to the limited options Canberra residents have in this area. - Standard of the food is very inconsistent, often burnt or very small portion - Food hygiene is poor, this big-sized guy in the 30s at the counter would go into the kitchen to help, picking up food using his hand without wearing gloves. Collects money with the same hand. Sometimes does not wear mask indoors. - Service has always been poor, the staffs are usually rude and often get the wrong order and do not apologise at all. Have ordered meals without prawns, and will find out at home that prawns are added. Charged for adding egg but egg is not added. - Prices are also way overpriced

We liked all the dishes we ordered. The hor fun has a good wok hei. The curry fish was on promo at $14.90 for dinner. It was of a generous serving with a lot of gravy. The fish head curry was served piping hot. I could see the mist even after a long time of eating. Impressive. Even though it was served on a large plastic oval plate and not on a claypot, I am extremely impressed by how the dish could be kept hot in temperature for so long. Some fish head curry only felt lukewarm when served in a claypot at other eateries. I could not stop raving about this. The Sambal Kang Kong was savoury but not too oily, spicy or salty. The oyster omelette was oily but it was yummy. It came with plenty of small but fat oysters, and they are not overcooked. The elderly waitress was efficient and told our order correctly. Our food and drinks were also ser Ed quickly. We ordered 4 dishes and each of the four of us paid $15. I felt satisfied with the meal and will dine there again to try out more dishes.

The asam fish taste awful. All the ingredients was boiled instead of cooking using wok. The sauce was so slimy.

Had our super early reunion lunch here, In door aircon place for zichar. Ordered several dishes and louhei. Simple and affordable. Staff today Jin friendly ? Lohei is delicious and come with slices of abalone at 28.80

??? It's really a bad experience here, first and last time. I should have read the reviews here first, thanks everyone for the 'reminder'. Didn't try their zi char, but their mookata should be one of the worst in Singapore. Tasteless soup, portion quite limited, very rude customer service by a guy in 30s. Ignore to serve...anyhow blame you...ordered one extra maggi mee (because the soup is so tasteless until we need the tomyam seasoning from the maggi ?) but serve you a rice and black face when you ask to change...count wrongly when you pay.. Another uncle seems reluctant to serve too.. Mumble when you ask for help, spent 10 mins (changed 3 gas refiller and all didn't work) to change the gas refiller during our meal.. Seriously nothing is good here. Definitely NOT recommended unless you really have a good mood and want to experience such service. ?

UNACCEPTABLE! Cockroach came with the fried rice I ordered. Called the shop to tell them about their hygiene, but they kept on denying and keep on saying their kitchen is clean when it is clearly NOT. Avoid eating here if you dont want food poisoning

First time dinner here. When entered the restaurant the staff told us just go n find a seat and they will come to us. Sit down, pass us menu, prepare the plates, served meals .. all in fast mode. When we looked around all the staffs were very bz to served foods as and many people tapao. We order 6 meals and overall the taste are ok, the fried toufu and three egg vege also not bad. Posting here as my kids requested, they wish to have a negative rating for this restaurant, which I agree with! This Mookata is the set of FOUR $39. The thinnest layer of meat is nothing like advertised. I didn't eat a bite; my wife and kids ate my share but were still hungry. The entire plate of meat was frozen when served; soup was tasteless, and meat was sour, nothing was fresh. Come on, this is complete ripped off. Their attitude is really bad. Last time here.
