I wish I could give this company zero stars. They are highly unresponsive and unprofessional. When we first arrived to Singapore, due to “plumbing issues” in our Eight Riversuites apartment, they transferred my 5 female flatmates and I to a cramped and dirty apartment in Geylang (red-light district). It was clearly unfit to house 6 people (couldn’t even open the door all the way in two of the bedrooms). I have attached pictures of the Geylang apartment. We requested that we be moved to a different residence. Thankfully, Mo offered us options to resolve the issue, and we agreed on moving to the Sofia Residences by the end of that week. However, over these next four days, we had to repeatedly ask for more information/updates, as it usually took hours and even days to get a response from them. Even when we did get responses, they were vague. At the end of the contract when getting our deposits back, I had mistakenly given them an erroneous account number. Desmond Yip was in charge of the payments. I had privately messaged Desmond to correct the mistake on 5/8/20. No response. Messaged 2 more times and even had to call him. His response: “My private inbox is too busy, please text the updated information in the group chat.” I sent the info to the group chat. Still no response. Only after I threatened to have a lawyer send them a letter of demand was when they finally transferred my deposit on 5/18. It took TEN DAYS. TEN DAYS to get payment confirmation. On WhatsApp, do they realize that I can SEE that they have VIEWED ALL my messages? I would also like to point out that they violated our contract, stating that deposits would be refunded “latest 14 working days” or in our case, 5/14. Despite my mistake, which I corrected on 5/8, I finally got their payment confirmation 4 days past the due date. Mind you, they didn’t even care that we all had to move out in the middle of our term due to COVID. Overall, it seemed they only cared about getting our money and not providing adequate customer service or a good customer experience. I should not have had to threaten them with legal action to get a response. If you are an exchange student studying in Singapore or frankly, anybody looking to rent an apartment in Singapore, DO NOT, BY ALL MEANS, DO BUSINESS WITH SINGAPORE HOUSING COMPANY.

Thank you for hosting my family. Mr. Mo did his very best in hosting my family and me. The apartments in singapore are not as spacious as in europe for the price but the quality and living standard was much higher too. We truely appreciated the service and hassle free check in. The apartment was very well funished and very good to stay for several month durning our time abroad.

When a bedbug problem occured in our apartment, they didn't help us properly and they were not willing to speak to us face to face about the issue, even after that we took more serious steps to solve the problem. Before I moved to Singapore, they made me sign my contract without telling me that the bedbugs are in the apartment which was caused by the tenants living there, prior to moving in. I was paying thousands of dollars for having bites on my body for months. They handled the situation very badly. I texted both of the founders of the company, and they didn't even reply me. Totally disappointing, ruined my whole exchange.

We recently checked out after staying with Singapore Housing Company for 6 month. Overall a great experience and an easy start when we moved to Singapore as the apartment was well located, fully equipped and all needed service such as weekly cleaning and internet was provided. The company was actually recommended by a friend and business partner as they regularly send staff to Singapore and book throught them. Way better and cheaper than any Hotel or other serviced apartments! Fast responses and very honest people. Keep it up! Thank you and take care!

We had a great stay. Very flexible and hassle free. We would like to thank the entire team for the past 4 months. From complementary and pre organized airport transfer until the end of our stay i would have even given 6 star rating if possible. Before we did arrive in Singapore I did some rental research and figured out that this company was not the cheapest but really the price worth. It was taken care of everything, even internet contracts and the cleaning of our apartment on regular basis was OK. The utilities were included up to 200 sgd per mnth which we did not even use. At the end of our stay they provided us with the official utility receipt which makes them very transparent too. The deposit was paid back the day we returned the apartment and handed over the keys. At the end we were missing some drinking glasses and still the lessor did not charge anything extra. We are very happy about our choice to stay with them and can highly recommend this company.

At first I chose this company because of its high rating in google, but after renting their apartment for 4 months, I do not understand why this company has such a high rating as their apartments and services were not in reasonable quality. Although they charge extra fees on air conditioners' maintenance/cleaning, nearly all the air conditioners in my original apartment were not working, and we had to sleep without AC (or with a super noisy portable AC) for the first few weeks. After we changed our apartment, we realized that the second apartment had cockroach and ant problems, and the washing machine was super dirty. When we contacted the company to report the problems or make inquiries, they never responded us timely until we chased for their replies for a few times, unless the problem is about rent payment. For the weekly cleaning, do not expect too much from them (e.g. for the bathrooms they would only use the water sprinkler spraying the whole bathroom wet (including the toilet seat) without wiping nor using detergent/sanitizers). I am not sure if they provide the same quality of service to all clients or only to foreigners, but if you are exchange students who know nothing about Singapore accommodations, don’t be scammed by them!!

I have stayed the last 8.5 Month in Singapore with them before going back to my home country. The Handover when moving out took a bit time but at the end all in all went well and I did receive back my full deposit. The service and communication during my stay was pleasent and accurate. I really enjoyed the nice pool during my time in Singapore after long office hours. In my opinon the best price for value out there. Some people i got to know did stay with our companies and had to pay much more than i did. All in all a great experience.

Would not recommend at all. Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced, very rude and non responsive. Landlord scheduled multiple showings while me and my friends stayed in the apartment without telling us. Sometimes people even showed up without guides/agents, expecting us to show them around… Stove did not work at all. Drawer was broken. Pool turned green because of improper cleaning. They give these fairytales before you move in and when there it’s nothing at all what you have been promised. Multiple hidden fees as well. Just look at other reviews before to confirm. Find another company!
