β β β β β Stayed at ST Residences for 18 nights. Booked the largest room available. Was spacious and bright with good natural lighting. It's not a new building as the wooden flooring was popping up. Hot water can get low at times and you'll have to wait for the central heater to heat it up before you shower. Otherwise, all is good. Hotel staff are very friendly and they bother to check in with you via WhatsApp to see if everything's OK or if you need something else to make your stay more pleasant. Didn't get to try their well talked about breakfast as they stopped serving breakfast due to covid 19. Do look out for their new apartments just next door. Understand from one of their staff that they were shifting some furniture to the building next door - 147 Moulmein Road. It's a newly built building

β β β β β Worst ever customer service. Extremely inflexible change and cancellation policy. Can't make any change to the booking even due to the government policy in respond to COVID. No reception and make the check-in / check-out extremely hard. Room is also a bit old, e.g. the oven is not working, etc. With the same price (200+ SGD) you can get a much better hotel or serviced apartment. Please read other users' comments and just avoid it.

β β β β β Please be very careful with this place! I am in the process of reporting them for financial fraud. I made a booking through booking.com, where it clearly mentioned free cancellation until 7 days before the booking dates. I went ahead and entered my credit card details, and chose the option "pay later". Before I could blink an eye, ST had charged me the full amount for the booking (over $2000) and sent me an email saying that the booking is non refundable. When I emailed them to request cancellation, they told me they cant cancel, without providing any explanation. I see that others who have reviewed here have had similar experiences. Be very careful of any transactions you make with them!

β β β β β I wish I had read more reviews of this place before I booked and paid. My room is nice, a bit on the small side but that's normal in Singapore.
What I am happy about. Service level on-site. Friendly in house staff including concierge, cleaning staff and grounds keeping. Good basic gym. Nice pool, great rooftop.
What I am disappointed about.
Room cleanliness upon arrival. Needed to be vacuumed and cleaned again. Easily fixed but had to make a fuss.
Paying for washing. 5 bucks a load. After paying 4.5k for the month I am annoyed about this. Small amount yes but in principle it's not cool at all.
WiFi. Extremely slow and bad connectivity. It has outdated security protocols. Bad coverage around the premises, especially in the room (!!!) and in the seated area in the garden. This is Singapore, home of fast Wi-Fi, this place seems to have forgotten. I have had to hot spot all the time and when I am working, like most people I am not in an office I have used up all my own data.
Scheduled cleaning was missed on a Saturday so had to wait until Monday. Made sure I was out all day and came back to a still unmade room with no proactive communication from the premises.
Paying big money (to my pocket) for something that isn't returning great value at the moment. The place could be so good but it's slipping in all the wrong areas.
Even a coffee machine that works for the guests would be a nice start.

β β β β β Honest review - this place is disgusting. Apartment had black mold in various places, walls were falling apart, clothes washer was infested with ants. I've never stayed anywhere that was so badly misrepresented by the photos and description. I paid for a week, but only stayed an hour (no refund) - that's how bad it was. I couldn't recommend this place to anyone, for any reason.

β β β β β DO NOT stay at this place unless you want to be demanding for your rights and arguing with the staff for what you paid for.
My partner and I stayed here for 3 week recently. We stayed for 2 months in 2020 and can say that the standards have fallen tremendously. A few days into our stay, the aircon broke down. No updates were made throughout the day and we had to demand for updates at night. A member of staff initially told that there would a room change. We waited for an hour and asked if we would start moving our stuff already. A more senior member then came to our rooms to confront us face to face in a hostile manner, saying that this change would only be for the night and not an actual room change. He mentioned that the 1st language of the other staff is not English and therefore this "miscommunication" was inevitable. When demanding to know whether we would get another room if the aircon was still not fixed the next day, he said yes, and gave us a plan for the allocated rooms which we would be staying throughout the rest of our stay. However, the next morning, the aircon was not repaired. We texted the staff again. This time they said that according to their contractor, the aircon issue had already been mended and therefore a room change was not possible. We had to force one of the staff from the office up to our rooms, who also agreed that the room wasn't cold at all. This led to long back and forth messaging with the staff throughout the day demanding for them to stick to the room changes that they had given us last night. Subsequently, we got shifted to a bigger room for 4 nights and were supposed to be transferred to a room of an equivalent size for the remainder of the stay (I could tell the room type from the room code). However, on Thurs morning, when the final change was to be made, they shoved us back into a smaller room without any explanation what so ever even after agreeing to refund us if further changes were made (when I had asked them to stick to the original plan 4 days ago). Of course a smaller, room was what I had paid for but we felt that an upgrade was the least they could do after all the trouble. In total, we made room changes 3 times throughout our stay and had to pack and carry all our stuff over.
As with congruence with other reviews, the place is in serious need of an upgrade. The bathroom floors have black-colored mold on them and the ceilings in the showers too. There are ants crawling everywhere in the kitchen. The swimming pool has lots of hair and dirt floating around as well as green-ish stuff at the bottom. There are numerous cracks on the bathroom floor and the closets smell musky. Our windows are all coated with green stuff which I think is algal. They even charge a $500 dollar "special" cleaning fee if one were to come down with COVID during their stay. However, with the amount of cleaning that they actually do, I don't think that it amounts to much and wouldn't feel safe staying here. Also, the lobby is no longer air-conditioned. They claim is is never air-conditioned although it definitely was back in 2020. It is super hot and unwelcoming for a reception.
I would give 0-stars if I could!

β β β β β Don't book it - it's disgusting
I always try my best to find something positive about a hotel/apartement. Besides the location that was perfect for my job in SG, I'm afraid, there is nothing
It started with the check-in. Doors were closed when I arrived at 10pm without any message or speaker where you could call someone. Called their number, no one picked up the phone. Finally, after 30 minutes standing outside, I reached them via WhatsApp and could check-in.
The building and facilities are run-down and would require a complete renovation. Worst however was that the wall behind my bed was leaking. A brown sauce was running down the wall, soaking my cushion and lining in the first night. Someone came after hours to wipe it away but of course, it came back. Installed a self-made drain system using paper towels that I had to replace in morning and afternoon. No activity from ST Residences to fix it, to offer another room or compensation.
Others: Broken furniture is fixed with tape, dryer is not working, fan on balcony not working, sometimes, WiFi is not working, sink in bathroom doesn't drain....

β β β β β The place was no where near clean nor worth the price it is charging for SGD$270/night. It is merely a super worn out condominium that claims to be a service apartment. It's cleanliness is worse than many people's home. I was forced to checked out as the place was unbearable and I asked for refund for the remaining nights that I did not use and they refuse to give it to me and claim it is last minute cancellation hence they cannot refund it to me.
They position themself as a serviced apartment when it is no where near serviced. "Service" is only provided upon request, there is no one at the reception desk all the time, if you order anything to be sent there, you have to bring it up yourself, yes they reply to whatsapp fast but that doesnt matter when the main product of the accomodation was not what it is suppose to be. I was forced to leave last minute because of their inability to offer what it claimed it would. It is wrong to charge travelers for full amount of cost upon check-in and still refuse to resolve the issue when it was all their fault and still charge me for the nights i did not stay there. They also charge people for $500 if they are covid positive during the stay claiming its for deep cleaning. But with the low level of cleanliness in that accomodation, i was worried i catch covid from their accomodation! I had to sanitise the whole place myself! Mouldy shower area, fingerprints all over handle bars, dirty kettle, mould on sink that smelled so so bad, hair left lingered on shower glass when we just checked in, patchy toilet seat, nose sh** on the kitchen sink, cockroach found on their plant pot, and they dont even bother to maintain the lift buttons, my husband was itching everyday since we were there till he couldnt stand it anymore.
