Singapore Post - Alexandra Branch - 110 Alexandra Rd

Super poor service! I arranged for redelivery of my registered article, yet they never show up, wasted my time waiting. 2 days later, they send a reminder for last date of collection. What kind of service is this?

Friendly staff.

Singpost is always sleeping. Whenever they ready to update some long due information on website, it was usually too late as it is due to be updated again. Just trying to find the opening hours of a post office, is quite a task. And, then, it does not show clearly the weekend time on Google. Their corporate website is huge, and simple people just wanting to find simple information like post office branch had to go around the www. and yet not find any information needed. Call centre takes ages to connect. Being a monopoly has its advantage as no amount of comment or suggestion is heeded as they think they are right all the time and customers are wrong all the time!!!!

Definitely one of the best post office in Singapore. I like the "small town feel"that this post office has. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Love this little gem in the Tanglin area! One of the charms of staying in just across.

Poor product knowledge. Unprofessional method of handling enquiries. They answer questions with unrelevant answers and try to cover up for the things they don't know. I don't know how to trust my parcels with them.

The officer at the post office was really friendly and nice, and advised me on the most cost effective postage. Packages were handled with care.

Poor service. I went to the branch thurs because it was close to my house. I asked how much was the cheapest envelope so I can put documents in to send out, no answer. Then I asked about the difference between the two different priority Mail methods because I needed to get a document to Hong Kong. The price was between 45-60 dollars. I was going to cnoose and the lady said I needed recipient to be a person on his ID. Then I said “yes I know I have his name”, and she said the same reminder again, and I said “yes his name corresponds to his ID”. Then it got bad she turns to her colleague and speaks Chinese and in a condescending tone, “他好像听不懂”, and in Chinese I responded of course I understand you’ve reminded me so many times about the name and also the person’s number. At the end I just walked out. I proceeded to call fedex delivery and price said 38.4 dollars latest delivery Monday which I was fine. Not only was fedex cheaper, the delivery person comes to pick up at your door. Oh and he texted me and treated me with courtesy and respect! And I tracked shipment and it already arrived by Friday evening earlier than promised! (Singpost is 5 days). So fedex all the way! Or Singpost Killenney Road or their office at SingPost centre has good service. But not Alexandra branch!

I really enjoy my time here. On 19 August, I went here to send some luggages overseas. As I was probably the first customer that day, I got a chance to talk to all the staffs. I got to say that all the staffs that day were super nice and helpful. While I was filling up my form, the young gentleman volunteered to help me wrap the luggage (as it was oversized). Another lady assisted me by going through all the details in the form. She even helped to estimate the weight of each items. I could have easily wasted 1 more hour trying to do everything by myself. Overall, I hope the SingPost will keep up this kind of standard. It is efficient and professional. Thank you very much :)
