Rates on board is different from what is verbally offered. Rates was even worse when the guy behind the counter passes u the money thinking that u did not notice he secretly lowered the rate again. Please check rates again after money is changed! Very scam!

I enquired about the rate, they knew what I wanted to exchange. Few awkward moments of silence later he decided to serve me (there were 3 staff and no other customer there). Then I realised they changed their rate on the board right in front of me! Horrible unethical scums!

Please do not go to this exchange shop. He posted highest exchange rate at online, but when I go to exchange, he told me ridiculously low rate. I trusted him, say ok ok ok. But he cheated me. 100 sing dollars, Nearly 25% lower than bank rate! I fight with him as high voice, after that, he offered me 80 dollars refund. Not to say more, I accepted. Really terrible experience in Singapore.

The board clearly showed that Thai Baht was 23.8 but refused to answer me when I said I would like to change. After I asked several times, he used the calculator to show 23.78. I pointed to the board and he ignored me. Then he asked me to look at the board, now the rate was 23.78. It was clear to me that he changed it. No doubt the difference is small, but his rudeness and refusal to honor the first rate are not acceptable to me.

Big cheat.....avoid this shop. I went to this money changer using cashchanger.co BIG MISTAKE if you don't ask for the rate first because after handing over my money, he gave a much lower rate. His board can show one rate and if you don't check, he will use a different lousy rate to fleece you. EXTREMELY DISHONEST!!! Stupid that I didn't read the bad reviews posted on Google. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST.

I called this shop before I went down to make sure they had small EUR notes and he confirmed they had EUR 50 and lower notes. The Arcade money changers had better rates but they were out of small notes so after checking on cashchanger.co (they had the best rate for EUR at the time I checked), I went down. There were two guys at the shop. The one sitting outside quoted me a rate lower than the online rate so I showed him the online rate. He said okay to the online rate. The one behind the counter started counting my cash and gave me the EUR I asked for, but in all EUR 100 notes. He obviously knew I wanted small notes but can't be bothered, so gave me all EUR 100 notes. Only after I asked him again, he reluctantly gave me some EUR 50 notes (this was not what we agreed on; he did not want to give me smaller notes). What he said over the phone earlier was clearly just a bait to get customers to patronise his shop. I did not like his attitude throughout the whole process and would not recommend anyone to change there. I asked for smaller notes to break this EUR 500 note I had and he ignored my request. I asked for an envelope to keep the cash, ignored again. Please stick to the money changers at the Arcade (Raffles Place) as they are clearly more professional (and friendlier) and not dodgy like this changer. There are many reliable money changers in Singapore and a small group of dishonest ones and unfortunately I classify this under the dishonest group. Go at your own risk.

Total Scammer! He ripped off, I requested to buy Indonesian Rupiah 500K and ask me to pay SGD71! Is it reasonable? TOTALLY RIDICULOUS! DON'T EVER BUY OR SELL ANY FOREX HERE.

Come across this from cashchanger.co，(their published exchange rate for euro Is closest to the market rate) Pls make sure u asked the rate before change and ask for the slip then u will know what is the rate. There is two man, attitude problem n give u the lower rate than the current rate (1.46 vs 1.54). Regret that I nvr saw the google review before I make my trip to them purposely. Want to give them no star ?
