B	Boon Ng on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do NOT waste your money on SMEG products. While they may be nice to look at, they do not last long despite the high price point. We bought a toaster and a kettle and both broke down conveniently RIGHT after the 1 year warranty period. Maybe this is a deliberate product design - to break down after a year, who knows? Additionally, their service center is absolutely useless. They will give you excuses and “explanations” to why your SMEG appliance is broken that don’t even make sense. They told me that my $250 kettle was broken because the kettle itself is heavy, and when you fill it with water it gets heavier (obviously?) so when you connect it to the heating plate, after certain number of uses, it will break. This is obviously a design fault, and for a so called “luxury” kettle, it should not have such poor design.
M	MK Lim on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comes with my new house, all the appliances keep failing. Tolerated the endless failures (washing machine, oven, stove, fridge). Then one day less than a year after i move in (but more than a year since TOP due to covid), they quoted $150 to come down excluding parts cost, for my fridge that is condensing on the freezer part (and spoiling everything inside), that i used for less than a year. Not a regular reviewer but if i can save one person from getting a bad product, then this is worth it. Changing my fridge.
