★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourite sushi-ya in Singapore. Chef is always friendly and that makes for great service. Everytime I come back there’s something different, so even though they do classic edomae sushi it’s fresh and interesting all the time. Price point is reasonable for the quality and quantity, with varying sushi menus ranging from $100 to $450.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ one of the top sushi restaurant in Singapore and definitely worthy of its Michelin star. Everything was immaculate from service to food. My glass was never at any point empty; the service staff made sure that all 8 of us always had our glasses with wine/sake. I really like their nodoguro and kamatoro. Only thing if I were to have any complaints about is their sake. The list is not very comprehensive, and mostly of the same type of profile; aromatic, elegant and sweet (to varying degree). Also their mark up for their sake is pretty staggering too. Like for example the nabeishima cost about S$80 retail but it's just under S$300 in their menu. Even if I go to a similar standard restaurant like kisho, I think they probably no more than S$200.
Overall, I'd say food is exquisite and well worth its price tag but I will go easy on the beverage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely lunch omakase on a sunday afternoon. Absolutely enjoyed the bluefin tuna belly nigiri most, and never knew I would actually like fish liver. Amazing food, wonderful Chef Yuki, excellent service. ??????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great omakase experience at Ginza Sushi Ichi! Both the wait staff and the chef are superb and makes you feel right at home. Besides great service, the food was amazing too! The charcoal grilled otoro literally melts in the mouth and taste absolutely heavenly. The uni and ikura were super delicious and fresh. All the sushi and sashimi were extremely fresh and delicious.
It may not be the cheapest omakase out there, but it definitely worth every single cent of the price.

Service staff are attentive, friendly and professional.
The quality of the fishes and seafood is remarkable, as they can have 4-5 shipments a week. The seafood are freshly shuck or cut right in front of you, not for the faint hearted, but you get why you see. It’s worth the show and presentation exceptional.
Haven’t have such good Omakase in awhile. Sushi Ichi definitely deserves the 1 star and more.
Reservations have to be made 1 month in advance at least.
