β β β β β went there on a wednesday night. was told that there was 1-1 shots so my friends and i decided to go for it. was only informed that we had to order 1 side dish for every set of shots we order to be eligible for the 1-1 shots *AFTER* we placed an order. so we ended up only order 1 set of shots with another free set of shots and cancel our initial order. honestly, it was a little unethical.
1) the menu did not specifically state that we need to order side dish for every shots set we ordered
2) the staff did not tell us about it when they were promoting their store to us.
to add on, their choice of music was meh + the fries & nugget portion is meh for the price paid :/ however, the beer tower was q affordable!
would prolly not come back again :/

β β β β β The meal started off well with very well grilled pork skewers moo ping - incredibly tender, juicy and exquisitely seasoned served with a small side of spicy sauce. Sadly, it quickly went downhill after. The pineapple rice had no hint of pineapple and could have been more accurately called tumeric fried rice. The basil chicken stir fry was spicy but lacked the authentic Thai flavour so it was rather underwhelming to say the least. The pork omelette was very bland and oily. The least appetizing dish was also the one for which we had had the highest expectations - Thai stuffed chicken wings. True enough the wings were crispy on the outside and beautifully stuffed... but stuffed with the most tasteless blend of meat and flour... it was like biting into a boneless chicken wing stuffed with extremely lightly flavoured white rice. We had enjoyed the atmosphere of Prinsep Street but the extreme lack of flavour at Soi 44 was a quick disappointment. Sad to say that this has been taken off our restaurant list.
