Don’t expect same standards as Fook Kin. Ordered Teriyaki Chicken don (>$10) & the Mentaiko Chicken Buns (>$10). Don was equivalent to Yoshinoya standard ah. Maybe Food Republic. Not bad for the price but really nothing to scream about. The buns were decent - If I’m in the area and feeling snacky, I might pick it up for a quick bite. Mentaiko sauce tasted artificial though ?, but chicken was nice & well done ?? Props to the staff for being attentive - it was starting to rain when we arrived and they made sure we were well-sheltered and even offered umbrellas to us as we were leaving.

Portion is just right and reasonably priced. Unagi rice was good and Mentaiko buns was everyone's favourite.

Quite difficult for me to find as I walked over from electoral house and the sigh boards wasn't really prominent. It's right at the end of the shop houses row, facing parkland. We are fans of fooking good at Somerset killiney and so naturally ventured here hahah. Ordering was a breeze as more fnb now on-board qr code menu with build in ordeing and payment gateway systems. The fried sotong is really good. Not rubber and has sufficient batter The mayo wasabi is a great sauce to go with it. We also ordered the more premium rice set with foie gra heheh. It comes with soft boil egg, see weed, chicken , pork belly , really nice combi. Oh it's called subarashii don. The wait for the don to be ready took a bit longer than expected with the place not too crowded. They will need to look into this when the crowd builds up. Will come again, maybe evening to feel the different vibes.

The pork belly bun was juicy and tender, and the yakiniku don was tasty! Good ambience and price too! Would like to visit again.

Food was only so so. The edges on the buns were tough. Requested in the online ordering system for no pickles on both dons and both still came with pickles. Some fries were soggy and some overfried (brown) ?. Takoyaki had too much pickled ginger flavour inside. The meats in the buns did taste good and redeemed the stars a little. A really small place, only 4 tables inside but there are sheltered outdoor seats.

Place is small but cozy. Music is too loud too, so it makes it a bit difficult to hear one another. Like what everyone says, this place is a bit difficult to find, but I think the white shop sign outside is quite useful in identifying the rough location from a distance. I ordered the unagi don rice bowl, and it’s yummy! The portion is small, but just nice for someone who with a small appetite. The staff are friendly and served us warm water too. Will come again to try other items on their menu!

Value for money!!! The dons are so affordable and taste really good. Small place - blink and miss it! Other than the pork belly bun which came across as kinda hard, the rest of the food - thumbs up! Worth a visit

Yummy food and friendly staff, the bun was nice with the 3 layer pork being nicely cooked. Seeing my friend eat the rice bowl, I think his looks more delicious than mine... Hope beer gets added to the menu soon ?
