L	Lars Wildt on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a takeaway wonton noodle. Was disappointed at first glance - I asked for chilli and the noodles after mixing looked bland. But I was pleasantly surprised at the taste on my first bite into the noodles. Soft but not soggy, each strand coated with oil (aka flavour), and it was spicy. Their chilli had a decent kick, but not swealteringly so. Charsiew came in average quantity, though the taste was above average, soft but just a teeny bit dry. The quantity of vegetables was also a bit more than most other stalls and were cut into small bite sized pieces. Wontons were small, with a bit too little meat, although the ratio of skin to filling was still good. This is one of the rare stalls where you can actually detect the bits of water chestnut in the fillings. Definitely good enough to go back again!
P	Pang Llui Lim on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing find in the city! There’s only 3-4 items on the menu including wonton mee, steamed rice rolls but I had dumpling noodle soup. Prices are $3, $3.50 and $4.00 (which I had). I love the texture of the noodles, the bursting dumplings, the soup and above all the fresh green vinegared chilli. There’s even greens in the soup to make this healthy. I think every time I visit the fishing tackle shops around here I must grab a meal at Soon Soon. The handsome young couple dishing up the food were very friendly and... generous.
S	Sean Goh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Randomly chanced upon this shop in the vicinity of King George avenue and decided to give this place a try since they are selling wanton noodle. Apart from Waton noodles, they also serve other items such as chee cheong fan and dumpling noodle. Bowl of wanton noodle starts from SGD$3 onwards. Portion wise, was just right. My noodle was slight overcooked, as a result noodle texture was a little too soft for my liking. Noodle was slightly on the drier side, could do with a little more sauce. Noodle comes with the standard ingredient like charsiew and vegetable. wanton was decent, quite tasty.
