Excellent authentic Andhra food and suitable for everyone who wants to enjoy some south indian food. The food is quite delicious, especially the non vegetarian curries are excellent in taste and in my opinion nowhere in Singapore we will get this kind of taste. The food is also well suitable for kids because it’s less/moderate spicy. The ambience of the restaurant also quite good though bit compact in size. Also, the price of the food is quite reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant (south/north Indian) to taste some authentic Andhra food.

Just had a lovely meal here, really amazing food, the spices were spot on and the service was great. Relaxed atmosphere, good beer. Definitely go back.

Everything is super cold except for soup. They didn’t even care to heat the food before serving.

Rave reviews for authentic Andhra food place dragged us to Kumbhakaran but were so shocked with our experience there. Service : Definitely not courteous. Food : I am not sure about the authenticity of Andhra food but cold food is definitely a disaster.We ordered sweet corn soup for our son based on their recommendation but when we got it we found that it was 'cornflour' soup instead .......there were big lumps of corn flour and it was cold and tasteless. Nevertheless when we asked them about the lumps, they said they will fix it but it was only warmed, the lumps were still there! Who serves this kind of soup to a small kid??? Also we noticed this place is has no kid friendly menu at all :| We ordered the Kumbharan special non veg thali that came with generous helping of biryani with chicken, mutton,fish curries, spiced buttermilk (worth trying), raita and sweet rice as dessert. Except for curries, everything was cold.......I mean who serves biryani cold especially when it happens to be their speciality ? I could taste the solid ghee/butter on biryani rice grains as it was that cold!

It's not difficult to find a biriyani restaurant, but it can be if you are searching for vegetarian options. I dropped in here as they had 6 different veg biryanis on the menu. Clean basic atmosphere, colorful tile table tops add a bit of atmosphere. I tried the recommended Paneer Tikka biryani which was delivered to the table rapidly and was a large portion for one person. The sauce was tangy without being overly spicy, and the cheese was in plentiful slices across the top. Rice was fine although not unique. Fresh lime soda was a good way to add a bit of acidic kick opposite the food. Quiet but helpful staff.

The spice is wonderful and well cook south Indian food. Nan, garlic especially is nice.

A very nice and authentic Indian restaurant. I love the biryani rice. the food is spicy. Service is good too. All good except the chicken 65. It should be called chicken 67 instead, because they have possibly added 2 weird tasting sauces. These two sauces ruins the entire dish.
