The standard of hygiene of the female staff who packed the food is appalling!!! It’s Covid period but she didn’t wear her mask. She was eating melon seeds with her fingers touching her mouth. Every time the food is cooked, she would use her dirty hands to take the uncovered food from the cook and pack them. She did this for all the orders that were before mine. When I stopped her and told her to wash her hand before touching the cooked food, she glared at me, went to a nearby sink to rinse her hand (without soap), and shoot the water off her hands angrily. I will never patronise this place again.

We ordered Korean Chicken Ramen and it felt more like a bowl of ζ³‘θœζ‰‹ε·₯青 than what it is called. I might have given half a star more if I wasn’t expecting it to be a bowl of Korean ramen. The portion is huge though and I can barely finish the whole bowl. And at $5, it is very decent which might have explained why there is still a crowd at the store.

Located on the level one of West Coast Plaza near the main entrance. This Korean food taste was reasonably good. My favourite was the spicy chicken with Saba fish was priced at a awesome value of $7. You get to enjoy the best of both worlds. The meal would come with free tea and seaweed soup. Last but not least, you can order your food via the orange self ordering kiosk in-front of the shop entrance.

(+) Good value for money, quick service, portions are generous. I like the chicken brown rice porridge. The gingsen chicken is tasty but a bit artificially sweet. (-) there is no aircon in the restaurant, they use the mall aircon only, and the ventilation system inside the restaurant is not good. Could have been more airy or at least have some standing fans

For sure you pay less for Korean style for here. But are the savings worth it? We had the bibimbap, beef bulgogi and seafood steamboat plus kimchi fried rice. Maybe it was just the chef having a bad day, but the meals were uninspired. The rice was mixed with kimchi and well, fried. There wasn't any extra oomph or umami imparted to the dish. And so on. So yes it's cheap but wasn't very cheerful on the day.

Delicious food but is it authentic, I'm not sure. This was my first try of Korean food here in Singapore and I rate and review this based on taste and not authenticity. Honestly, I loved their food. Ginseng chicken was subtle in flavors while the chicken steamboat was bursting with flavors. Similarly kimchi rice rice with egg was equally good. All at an affordable pricing. For the food, portion size, flavors and affordable pricing, this place is packed. Definitely worth trying for all the above reasons. Highly recommend.
