T2 Tea - 313 Somerset - 313 Orchard Rd

The products were aesthetically packed quality of tea were palatable, however the user experience of the overall shopping experience from "Click & Collect" online to the store could be greatly improved.

Dropped by their suntec store 2 weeks ago to check out what T2 Tea has to offer and the service there was impeccable though I did not purchase anything. The suntec staff was extremely friendly, courteous and had the initiative to introduce me to T2 Tea which was why I decided to make a trip to 313 last evening to make my first purchase. Unfortunately, the service at 313 is a far cry. The male staffs on shift had a care less attitude and were more interested in engaging in their own conversation. They also did not bother to introduce the membership programme, and I only had known about it after i googled it myself online. Could have gotten a 10% for my first time purchase if the staff had bothered to inform, instead of chatting. Some professionalism please. Not impressed.

Staff were excellent. Didn't hard sell instead told me about value bundles since I was getting 2 boxes of tea. Fast and fuss free shopping experience.

I love T2. It has a wide range of unique flavors. It smells pretty strong for tea leaf. I love Melbourne Breakfast because I have one, I got myself Mango Cucumber! It’s little sweet from the mangoes and fresh from the cucumber. The place was so easy to find, super great and friendly service, I liked it! And we can try some display tea at the front of the store. For you who love to collect and try teas, you have to try visiting T2! The price was ok with the amount of the tea leaves in one box. P.s: if you want to make cold tea, make sure you pour a little more of the tea leaves than making the hot tea. The hot water makes the tea taste stronger with a little amount.

Buyer beware! T2Tea Detox tea bought at Cold Storage - There were live bugs in the box, very jolly creatures. A bit disgusting, though.

The closing time of the branch at Somerset is reflected as 10 pm on the official website of the company, but upon reaching the shop at 9.45 pm on Saturday 8 Jan, the shop was already closed. I wanted to purchase tea for my family and friends overseas and my flight is on the following day morning. Hence, I had to endure the frustration that came as the result of the misinformation posted on the website. As an international company, I think they should be held to higher standards in providing accurate information to customers, in order to create trust for both their new and old customers.

Positioned as premium tea but customer service at supermarkets is anytime better than them. Both staff at 313 were unfriendly and looked totally uninterested and literally just pointed at the shelves and said ‘we only have this’, ‘we only have that’ when questions are asked. Completely lacks initiatives to provide consultation or alternatives (I was looking for fruit tea only) till I spotted the items I needed myself. I read similar feedback about service at 313, was anything done at all to improve the attitude of the staff? On the same day, we bought a box of assorted coffee at $56 (our spending at T2 was $69) at Bacha ION. On the contrary, Bacha's crew is more cheerful, product packaging and service also mirror the premium quality of their products. Lastly, if T2 is unable to provide the same level of elegance in packaging, at least don’t charge $1 for the BASIC looking bag. It just made the already bad customer journey worse! Disappointing! Not going back at all!

Needed to get some gifts for clients, and was initially thinking about TWG tea. Chanced upon the T2 shop here at 313 coincidentally, and it was definitely a lovely experience. As someone still thinking and researching, yet not having much luxury of time, this worked perfectly. The options of different packaging, flavors, and gift varieties, is just very helpful. Prices are fair. They also have gift wrapping options, which definitely helped seal the deal for me. One thing to note, and yes, they do charge for their paper bags. The staff at the store were not hard selling, giving me my space to think and look around, yet offering recommendations and helped when I reached out. Very lovely folks at the store for sure.
