Gave this a 2nd chance cos months back I tried it and it wasn't very good?. Was told that the Signature version is probably better as previously I had the normal version. So this time I ordered the Signature version which cost a whopping $9. The unfriendly uncle at the counter took my order. I was surprised to see a very huge bowl with very little noodles in it. As I don't eat pig liver I guess the bowl looked pretty sad. I guess the amount of pork slices were substantial but it still didn't look like a $9 hawker dish. It came with a bowl of soup consisting of wanton. Previously when I had the soup, it tasted like water with a hint of pork.. It was not good! This time, the soup tasted less like water but it still wasn't flavourful. The wanton, which although were INSIDE the soup tasted very dry which was strange. The noodles were okay and although it looked very little at the start, was enough to be shared by 2 people. I really wish they could make everything from the soup to the noodles more tasty in every way.. And I realised that the chilli in the noodles didn't give it any oomph! There was no real kick to it, and it didn't make the noodles addictive. Thank goodness the chilli padi that you can help yourself to kinda saved everything. Would I eat this again? Highly unlikely.. Though some people have said the original branch one serves better food. There are Alot of way better minced pork noodles out there that are consistent with their taste and hit the spot everytime. Sadly this stall doesn't.

This was an example of being taken in by 'awards' and 'queues'. Decided to give this a try after seeing the Michelin label and then queue. The queue moved really slowly so I guess I placated myself that good things take time. However, I think the signature noodles are extremely mediocre. It wasn't terrible but not worth the price or queue. The dumplings in the soup also had really thick wonton skins.

We tried to avoid the lunch crowd so went abt 1 ish. Still had to q for abt 20 mins. Ordered the smallest at $5 but as you can see fr the pix - they were really generous with the noodles & ingredients. Very strong whiff of vinegar (which i love). Initially i was very sceptical that it would taste good as the stall is manned by many "youngsters". My bad. I apologise. One of the best noodles I've had!

It's a shame to wear the Bib Gourmand badge when the quality is 3/10. I have been eating at both the Original shop when they open in Marina Sq food court and the brother's Stall Tai Wah BCM when they are at Shenton Bestway Building. Overall the quality is Bad. Noodle is soggy, over-priced for Bedok coffee shop. Soup is too salty and taste nothing like the Hock Hai outlet. No vinegar taste or no taste for that matter. Again, with the competition within the same coffee shop, they need work hard to get any repeat Customer.Good luck Gents ?? The only saving grace is the wait time is 10-15 mins for now. Nothing personal, but Tai Hwa BCM is such an institution and this outlet is nothing close to the real thing ?

Review for the month of September 2021 Good is the word to describe. Why i did not rate it full 5 stars is because some of the pork liver wasn't fully cooked/evenly :-( Well i waited around 20 minutes. Still way better than queuing at other the other long queue outlet easily 45 minutes and above. Anyway the taste overall is Good. But i would avoid going the peak hours like lunch.

I asked the counter staff what’s the difference between the $5,7 and 9 versions - in Chinese. She didn’t understand me. I told her I wanted less chili- she didn’t understand me. I had to repeat myself to the cook. Taste wise, the flavour of vinegar overpowers the noodles which are bland otherwise. The portion of noodles is very small (I ordered the $5 version). Judging from the photos, I don’t think the other portions are any different. The wanton has too thick skin and not much taste. Not impressed.

In the morning, the queue is not so demanding, just wait around 10 minutes. The only problem, they have a queue number without bother to install any queue sign board, you must pay attention to the person who call it. Tastewise, generally is okay but i prefer the duck noodles in its opposite (i know it is not apple to apple). The noodle is good, the ingredients is good but the flavour is not balanced for my liking, the vinegar is overpowering the other taste.

Had high expectations from a reputable brand. Don’t be fooled by the long queue in front of the store, unless you have time and money to burn join in the queue to try a less than average bowl of minced meat noodles where you find anywhere in Singapore. The noodles is under cooked, the soup is as bland your 90% tap water 10% salt combination. Michelin my foot!
