Variety is good, but taste is so so. Beware lady staff who is impolite and unhygienic. Safe distancing measure need improvement. ?

I would consider myself somewhat of a pisang goreng connoisseur ><—try it every time I happen to be at a famous stall. This has got to be one of the best versions in Singapore. It's bursting with custardy sweetness inside, and the crust is nicely thin and crispy with just a touch of salt to balance out the flavours (and no dreaded alkaline taste!) I got the small one cos it's sweeter.

Had the $1.50 banana fritters. Half way through, felt something wasn't right. Tore off the fried batter, n to my horror, the banana was coated in some black stuff. It was disgusting. Think the stall is unethical to sell this kind of food. Will post picture of the banana fritter.

Ordered 3 ($1.50) Fried banana and 1 tapioca cake. The lady instead gave me 3 tapioca and one sweet potato, yet charged me for the original order. Ridiculous!

The old stall at Bedok Interchange used to have the banana fritters. The standard of this shop is very Low now. For $1.50 the single fritter can be very bitter at times. The aunties who were managing the stall is long gone. Looks like they did not maintain the standard.

Bought 4 fried cempedak yesterday, went home discovered 3 pcs already over ripe with full of roots and 1 pc with batter not cooked. Thats horrible, dare not eat as not sure the roots are poisonous. Went back to show them the photos. The staffs attitude was bad and no apologies at all, argued that they not able to see. I did not want any compensation, only want them to be more careful.???

It was a great disappointment to experience badly with the banana fritters. I bought 5 pcs which cost me $7.50 and I didn't get to eat any of them because of the lousy food quality of the banana. My family and myself have lost our appetite completely when we cut the fritter into half :( !

Huge selection of deep fried products. 3 types of fried bananas at different prices, nice crispy crust outside with tender juicy within. Good to eat nearby after purchase.
