★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typical kopitiam stall attitude which gives no F for the customer. I ordered and stood there to wait. Saw the cook (I wont even use the word chef) scratching just below his nose and wiping it behind his shorts. Waited like 15 to 20 mins to know that it was actually ready 10 mins ago just that he forgot me. Had tasted better hokkien mee but the hygiene and attitude just pisses me off. No thanks.

Had the or lua and fried hokkien mee for lumch. The or lua was pretty good, and was still crispy after the 15 minutes it took to get home. The oysters, though not too big, were fresh. The hokkien mee had wok hei, and came with three prawns. There was no pork or sotong. Portions were smallish for $5.
Overall, it was a good lunch and we will return for our or lua fix.

We ordered the white carrot cake and hokkien noodles, and the food was delivered to our table within ten minutes. The carrot cake was nice, but could have been slightly crispier. The noodles tasted a little bland.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very popular stall at this coffee shop, perhaps it's this particular stall that brought a lot of traffic to this coffee shop. For me the must-try item is not so much the carrot cake, but the Fried Oyster Omelette ($5 & $8). There're no better alternatives in the hawker food/ coffee shops within the Tampines town area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to be nice but heard that there's a change of chef. Now their price is too expensive. The prawns are so small. Standard drop a lot. Put your money elsewhere. Long queue is from regulars who eat for years or from others hyping that this is one of the best places to get carrot cake. I eat this since I was young and live in this area for decades so I can tell if it's worth it or not. But I stopped eating for 10 years already. I'm not bias. It's my honest opinion
Bedok Interchange carrot cake is way nicer than this
