Worst than I thought. Do town council really understand their function or responsibilities ? Just as an example as I faced that recently or still existing with no respond and resolved... Since Aug 07, found the ceiling in kitchen 'leaking' at area where the drainage of water is. Managed to get hold of the officer from town council (tanjong Pagar - spottiswoode) who checking the similar issue at the ground floor. Reviewed both the upper flow and my floor with conclusion that the gully on the upper floor is choked where they did clear that in next couple of days. Had no reply from Town council as what and when as I could do repair on my floor for almost like 4 weeks. Call HDB, and another arrangement bn made to review the situation. Now guess what. Infact the leaking seem to come with different story, it cud be the pipe that cemented btwn floor and it is useless if I just do replace the ceiling on my end... That is on Sep 09 where I made it very clear to the town council that I must have a clear direction by 7days.(Sep 16) as the leaking part have started to cause damages to the cabinets. Plus it really unhealthy especially those water that leak cud get in the food or water that we take to boil. Sickly, as to date, no reply. What is going on? Now, tell me exactly what is the purposely of having a town council? Wasting our money?

Their inaction and inefficiency are majorly outstanding - failed to act upon and resolve a long outstanding stairwell clutter matter (more than 1-2 years thus far); emails are faced with silence. Blackouts are considered frequent (about 4 times a year) and it takes almost 2 long hours for it to resolve for the latest episode despite having highlighted it at the first minute. The blackout then persisted over the next 3 days where electricity was intermittently cut off for no reason ( we paid our bills in full). Residents had to take stairs up and down as lifts were down (not just during blackouts but also lifts were faulty frequently - spoilt buttons or randomly just not operating) and not able to cook meals due to blackouts. TJP town council’s staff is massively disinterested in their roles and duties. Am sure the conservancy fees we are paying monthly is unjustified. Don’t see the value and benefits. 0/5.

Feedback couple of times and there is no action done for carpark QXQ73. This limited carpark for season parking holding always full either morning or lunch hours. Those carpark nearby yet empty. Can you make this QXQ73 reserve whole day parking for the residents. Please take action to investigate.

Feedbacked re water pump/pipe noise but it hasn't been resolved even after escalating to MP Chua. Been a few months and even in the wee hours at 4AM now the humming could be heard which is really disruptive. We were even asked to find out which pipe is faulty ourselves - seriously disappointing.

Resident of Queensway. As of 3/6/2022 1130am. We are not informed neither notified of fumigation / mozzies spray around the area. I have 12 students in my hand and 1 nosebleed. How is this acceptable???? If we have known we would have gone out and allow the fumigation to take place!!!! THE WHOLE CENTRE SMELLS LIKE THE SMOKE AND IT WONT GO AWAY. WE CAN’T OPEN THE WINDOWS EITHER IF NOT THE MOZZIES/COCKROACHES WILL COME IN!!!!!! CALLED THE NUMBER AND DIDNT EVEN HAVE ANYBODY PICKED UP THE PHONE. AND EVEN PICKED UP STARTED PUSHING BLAME TO THE MAINTENANCE TEAM. LIKE SERIOUSLY???? WE PAID SUCH A HIGH AMOUNT OF MAINTENANCE FEE YET WE’RE NOT INFORMED ABOUT FUMIGATION???????

This place if you are going for your marketing it is just at the end of the NTUC I used to buy my curry powder at the market they do have a a complete market on the ground floor and up the stairs you can find the cook food hawker center. They have a wide variety of cooked food whereby it is Cather for the working class and I can said that it is usually crowded you will have to wait for space to take your lunch there. There are many places that you can eat at Tanjong Pagar the whole row you can find something that maybe you can if you're not fussy about what you are looking for. This place you can find banks there. It is almost a place that you will find a place that is open for you to find something to do there.

Every time I call the reply is "we will call you back soon!" It's been a month+ since my first call! Every time! My ceiling has been leaking for a month and no one come and fix! This officer Mani is in charge of this area. Where are you Mani?? And we have to pay $45 per month for what???

I contacted Town Council about a small new bee hive and explained that relocating them is possible in the same timeframe and cost as extermination. I even provided them with the screenshot, website and contact. What did they do? They insisted on acting in malicious ignorance and got an exterminator to kill the bees. Bees are not pests and are critical contributors to a healthy natural environment. Some exterminators provide bee moving services too. It's somewhat acceptable that Town Council were not aware. But it is utterly unacceptable that they failed to even try to relocate the bees or contact me again even after having been told. I would have borne the cost if I had to. It's simply breathtaking to deal with people who act blur and act ignorantly even after having information and options presented to them.
