Just want to say thank you to the doctors and nurses. Don’t be put off by all the negative messages here. You guys are great and have my utmost respect. [about this polyclinic] for those who don’t know. It’s a community clinic! It’s mainly to serve the community and statistically those who come from lower income, the needy, and elderly. [info on direction] The entrance is on the 4th floor of block 162. On the ground (1st) floor, you will see UOB bank, Subway and KFC. Go to the central lift and take the lift to level 4. Turn right when you are on the 4th floor lobby and you will see the entrance. The buses that stop here are 14, 147, 196, 197, 765, 855, 961 and 961M. This is bus stop number 10091. Cheers!

Cashier asked if I wanted to pay my outstanding bill today, I kindly replied no I won’t be. She didint hear it but I said it loud and clear enough, she proceeded to shout rudely “are you paying today or not” very bad service?

Dr Yeong Yin Leng was warmth, courteous and detailed in explaining about the symptoms and warning signs of Hand foot mouth disease for my child. Wonderful physician worth complimenting in the public healthcare system ☺️

I went to the Bukit Merah Polyclinic on 4 March 2022 at 9am to see the doctor regarding my yearly test results. After reviewing my test results, I told Dr Moosa I was having rashes on my thighs and that it was very itchy. Without even making any attempt to look at the rashes, she told me that as I age, my skin is dry and will itch. I insisted that it wasn’t due to dryness and that moisturizer won’t work, she still prescribed me a cream to apply. However, it didn’t work. The itching didn’t stop, the rashes started to spread one week on…. Today I went to a private clinic near my house and when the doctor took a good look at my rashes, he said that it’s eczema and that there’s fluid coming out from the small red bumps which means I have an infection. He then prescribed me a course of antibiotics, tablets and cream. The trip to the private doctor costs me $67. It could have been a hundred bucks if I wasn’t a CHAS member. My point is, had Dr Moosa been more attentive and caring, My rashes would have been taken care of and my medical bill would be less because of government subsidies at polyclinics.

It was my first time coming here so I actually came earlier abit to find how to get up there. Basically it's right above the hawker centre of Block 162. Go to the middle where you should find a stairs connector to "a different building" there's a lift there to go up to level 4. Or you could just climb the stairs since you start from level 2 (hawker centre). So I arrived early at 756am. The place was fully operational already even though they open at 8am. Counters were set up with the staff asking questions away to give you either yellow or green stickers. Was give green as I didn't had any symptoms of what they asked. Went right in (on the right) to self register on the machine. I have 0 appointments. Machine gave me a ticket to go counter 4. After 2mins was called and processed in. Now usually in my memory, walk-in = 1 hour ish~ to see the doctor. I was just there to get a referral letter. Was told to go straight turn right to room 34 to see the doctor. Now the place is big.. like really big. So I followed the instructions and went straight to room 34. Where I found out my number was called. Bear this in mind that the place has quite alot of people already. The whole process shocked me ok how fast and fluid it was. Paid my bill and Thank the Counter staff (with a smile) who processed me in. (Counter 2 sis. You rock! Hope you have a great day!) So in and out of the polyclinic in record breaking time of 20ish mins. PS: Despite all the negative comments. I'm sure there were circumstances that had caused emotions / attitude to be considered "rude" to some patients. Continue to work hard and be proud of what you do, no matter what role. Thank you for your service in this industry!

I have been visiting this clinic since 2017 as follow up with cardiac issues. This clinic is very efficiently run from it's registration, consultation and payments. Most of the time spending there were much lesser than I had expected. Doctors like Dr Pearl Huang, Dr Melissa Ling, Dr Alan Tan and others whom I had forgotten the names are very friendly and caring. I really appreciate their services from the bottom of my heart! Well done Singhealth! Another thing worth mentioning is the HealthBuddy apps that deserves a 5 star grading! Thanks MOH!

I would like to complement the staff of Bukit Merah Polyclinic, it was my first time there and I was somewhat taken a back as unlike other Polyclinics the center was not easy to locate, and overall it seem a little run down. The space as well is complicated and one can get easily lost That said the counter staff while some might be chatting do not hesitate to help when requested, and the medical staff I encountered (Special mention of Dr Selena Choo ) is top notch in hearing the patients concerns and following up / advising accordingly. The cashier staff are equally good closing out the case. Few things to note when visiting there - The clinic being central can get very crowded at times, even with an appointment get prepared to wait 30 mins to and hour even. - If you have no appointment get prepared to wait hours, one should consider less crowded Polyclinics or A&E for emergencies - For elderly who are not familiar with the area and not savvy to navigate the surroundings someone needs to accompany them for a smoother experience. Considering the aged facilities and the influx of traffic of all ages and ethnicities the staff does do what they can under such environment, its not the most pleasant polyclinic to be at but with the staff to me seem to their best and with some patience from public is will go a long way. Ps Initial picture seems quiet but most of the patient are further in the clinic.
