Best Korean restaurant in Singapore

G	Grace F on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So far the best gamjatang in Singapore! Super flavourful and very authentic. It’s reasonably priced at $48 too and this can easily feed 3 people. The lady boss is very attentive and friendly to all the diners making sure we have everything we need. Thank you and we will come back to try the other dishes!
E	Esther Teo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been to many Korean restaurants but this gotta be my favorite. Quality and authentic korean food. Like that there’s few sizes for pancakes and the option to mix!! The small pancakes make each piece crispy and easy to eat The side dishes were very flavorful and well executed. It wasn’t one of those - make in bulk bcos it’s a side dish kinda feel.. Portions are also pretty decent. Will definitely be back again.

The time that we dined started at 5pm so it was quite enjoyable as not many people around. The owner will help grill the meat which is part of their service. Let’s leave this to professional rite? ?

Staff is friendly, especially the Korean lady boss who can speaks very good Mandarin ensures that we receive a welcoming experience. The japchae was very flavourful, the grilled meat was amazing too. Definitely gotta be back for other items in the menu. Highly recommended place for an authentic Korean food.
h	hw on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ recently discovered taste of korea JJIN, nestled in the busy stretches of telok ayer, and i must say they serve up one of the best korean foods that truly screams authenticity ? their kimchi stew and jjajangmyeon were flavourful, yet not tasting too artificial and salty with taste of msg. really really liked the jjajangmyeon as i found it less sweet than other more reputable places! the steamed egg was really very poofy and tall, truly steaming in all its majestic glory. side dishes worth a big mention as well - simple yet absolutely fresh and delicious. setting and ambience was quite good as well. this was a good experience & would be back to try their largely boasted bbq selection ?

Particularly enjoyed their raw marinated crabs, pretty good for the price $38 for 3 small crabs. The only downside would be the ridiculous 3 seatings in one night, making the meal incredibly rushed and uncomfortable

Tried the raw marinated shrimp instead and it was pretty good, kinda like sashimi - it was our first time having it. Had their BBQ pork & beef set (for 2) that also came with a choice of soup (we went with soft tofu soup), jjajang bap, as well as half-half kimchi and seafood pancakes. Along with a bottle of soju, the amount was perfect for 4 ladies. I liked their variety of banchans - esp the creamy sesame lotus roots, spicy fish cakes and beansprouts. Overall, definitely a good meal. Bill came up to $200 exact. Only disappointment though, was when asked if we could add an additional diner to our reservation, they did not allow it as they were fully booked. We were fine with that actually, but not when it turns out that our table could fit 8 pax. Our friend could have joined us.

I didn't expect to see raw crabs on the menu but had no regrets ordering them. The raw crabs were awesome and were the highlight of the the meal for me. Ambience was alright.. Slightly towards the smokey end of the spectrum.
